Wavier oneshots (Wednesday & Xavier)

Did I scare you?

Halloween is easily Wednesday's favorite holiday. But what happens when Xavier wants to do a couples costume?

Wednesday didn't like many holidays.

Christmas was too jolly.

Easter was too pastel.

Valentines day...did she even need a reason to hate it?

But Halloween, on the other hand...

Wednesday saw it as a reason to scare tons of people without them calling the police or smacking her in the face.

So when Xavier asked if she wanted to match costumes...

"No."

"C'mon Nes! It'll be fun!"

"I prefer to suffer in the solitude of being alone, matching would require you by my side 24/7"

Xavier rolled his eyes. "Well then, what were you planning on being?"

"A homicidal maniac."

"I'm not playing games Nes!"

"I plan on being the invisible man."

Xavier stood up. "Wednesday, you can't act like your not going to do Halloween."

"I am. I plan on stalking some people."

Xavier left.

..........

"You guys should totally go as something really romantic."

"Shut up Enid."

"Ok, but like, you two could totally rock being something dark."

"He wants to go as murderous clowns. It's not happening."

Enid slowly wheezed into her pillow.

"Aren't clowns, like insanely colorful."

"Exactly."

Xavier had been nagging her all week.

She couldn't take it anymore.

"I will. Under one condition," Xavier's face lit up. "My costume is all black and white."

"Deal."

The costumes were in. The fake blood was sitting under Wednesday's bed.

........

Halloween whipped around. Wednesday woke up that morning, groaning when she realized what day it was. 

She put on her costume and stepped out of her and Enid's dorm. 

Everyone was in costumes, ranging from full black body suits, to witches, to the basic blow up dinosaur. 

Xavier came out with his clown costumes on. 

This was going to be a long day.

At the halloween party, Xavier pulled her aside.

"Listen, I know you really didn't want to match tonight, but I really appreciate that you did."

"It's not a big deal. All I did was dress up in the same halloween costumes as you."

"I know it doesn't seem big, but for me this feels like affection, so thank you Nes."

"Next year we ARE being homicidal maniacs."

"Anything for you Nes." He winked at her and something in her heart melted.

"Don't bring this up again."

"I wouldn't dare." He kissed her forehead and ran off to find Ajax.

It's so short, im sorry, but we had a really busy day yesterday and today and i'm BURNT OUT.

I started this yesterday, got to like 100 words and resumed today.

I'm so sorry it's short, but the next one is going to be really long so it may take a few days.
