It was a rough sleep for Seraphine. Two thoughts circled in her head all night: excited to collaborate with her favorite idol group, but....also jealous because Y/N, and Akali. Any time the pink-haired girl remembered those two, the excitement quickly vanished.
It was a constant back and forth of emotions.
Her alarm went off. Time to get ready. Seraphine inhaled deeply and rose from her bed. She trudged over to her bathroom and went through her usual routine. After that, she threw on her usual outfit: shirt, jeans, and jacket. Before leaving, she grabbed a muffin and put on her favorite black boots.
And even though it was a sunny day out, her mood was still low. She tried to perk up as she got in Y/N's car; didn't want him to notice.
"Morning, Sera," he greeted as she sat in the passenger seat. Jinx was back at their house, so it was just the two of them. "Ready for today?"
Seraphine managed to stifle a yawn and put on a brave face. "Mmhmm. Ready as I'll ever be," she replied. A quiet sigh of relief escaped her lips when Y/N couldn't tell.
Though, he still noticed something on the drive over. Normally, the two sang along with the playlist. But, this time, Seraphine was abnormally quiet.
"You okay?" Y/N asked her. No reply. "Sera?" Still nothing. "Sera!"
"H-Huh? W-What?" she stuttered, snapping out of her daze.
"I asked if you were okay. You totally spaced out."
A small blush crossed her cheeks. "Sorry, Y/N. Guess I'm just, a little nervous about today."
He nodded in understanding as he took the exit off of the highway. "Can't say I blame you. This is big! You get to join the collab with K/DA and me! I'm sure they're thrilled. I know Akali is. She talked highly of you last night."
Whatever Seraphine was feeling at that time changed.
"-and I'll be sitting in with Yas while y'all record. You know: moral support, rooting you on."
Seraphine's mood elevated, only by a little. She was grateful to have Y/N there, and even moreso for today.
Still didn't mean it didn't sting when she heard him mention Akali.
Why do I feel like this? He seems happier now. That....that should be enough, right? Akali's bringing him up....but did I ever do that you, Y/N?

So, turns out the group still needed more lyrics; well, to tweak them, anyways.
"What do you mean we need to change mine?" Evelynn asked.
Ahri said, "Look, yours don't seem like, you. I just think it should fit."
"And what's wrong with mine?" Akali asked. "It's basically me!"
Ahri sighed and continued, "While, yes, it is, the rhymes don't feel right."
Y/N looked over the lyrics. He would agree with Ahri, but, he wasn't sure if she meant the English lyrics, or the Korean ones; those were basically Greek to him.
Kai'sa stepped into the room with a couple bags of takeout. "Any luck?" she asked, setting them on the table.
Akali huffed while grabbing one of the boxes of rice and chicken. "Nope. Nada. Still stuck," the rapper groaned.
Seraphine leaned in and looked at the notepad. "C-Can I try?" she spoke up to the group.
The idols looked at her with intrigue. "Sure. What do you think?" Kai'sa asked.
