"Okay, whatcha got for us?" Akali asked the drummer when he came to the studio two days later.

"What I got, is this," Y/N said, holding up a black, medium-sized duffel bag.

"Ah. A bag?"

"It has something I'm sure you're all familiar with." He unzipped it and pulled out a Roland TR-8 drum machine.

"Ooh, yes! We've worked with these," Kai'sa cooed.

Y/N was about to say more, but for some reason, his hands felt lighter.

Why? Oh, the drum machine disappeared.

"Huh? What the- Where'd it go!?" He frantically searched the tech booth for the missing instrument. "How does it just vanish!?"

"Well, dear, that's our Rogue for you," Evelynn sighed.

"Rogue?"

"Eve means Akali," Ahri clarified, pointing to the recording booth window. Y/N found Akali in the other room, drum machine in hand. She took off her black and gray jacket, kicked off her shoes, and dropped crosslegged on the floor. She connected her black and gold headphones to the machine. "Seems she's going to be busy."

"How busy are we talkin'?"

Three hours later

"Man, she is still going," Y/N said.

"Like we said earlier: that's Akali," Kai'sa said in a motherly tone. "Once she's going, there's no stopping her." She looked back down at the yellow notepad that sat on her crossed legs.

Y/N was impressed with the young rapper's approach. It wasn't often he met an artist that took the first step, for once. "Gotta say," Y/N said, crossing his arms with a nod, "it's only day one and I can tell working with K/DA is going to be, something."

"Something?" Ahri wasn't sure what he meant by that.

"Let's just say I admire your approach at things: all out, nothing less."

"That's us!" Akali exclaimed, suddenly reappearing in the tech booth. "Check it! I just made a new beat!"

Y/N was reeling from Akali's surprise appearance, but listened in to what she came up with. As the beat played, she fired off some lyrics.

"You like, 'Whoa, Kali, you the goat'/ <I'm like, yeah> I know/ <Gotta bounce> 'cause I like to ball/ <Man, I'm on a roll!> Well? What do ya think?" she asked everyone.

The other three nodded, liking what they heard. "So, that's just you freestyling?" Y/N asked in turn.

"You know it! I'm already feeling more with this, so I wanna turn it into a real song!"

"Gotcha." Y/N took over the machine, pressing a couple buttons and said, "We'll bookmark it for later."

Akali tapped the pad to hear the beat again, but all she heard was a single snare shot. "Or, you just deleted it."
