(Future Thunder: I was in school today, thinking, hmm I hope ppl liked the new chapter! Then I came home and opened my computer and realized I hadn't posted it WHEEEZE)

SO I DIDN'T WANT TO PUT A NOTE ON THE PROLOGUE BUT I CAN NOW AND HIIIIIIIII EVERYONE WHAT DO YOU THINK!????? I'm so exited to be back!!!! I hope you liked the prologue!!!

I also really hope you like this chapter! Once you start it, I promise, it won't be long until the moment you're waiting for! Ghost is fun to write, but also very different. He listens more than he talks (but when he talks it's always to annoy someone ;)

I planned to be ahead but school is kicking my butt right now and I'm only up to scene three. I haven't even gotten to halfway and it's already so long, lol. I might end up cutting some things but I really want to spend time with the characters interacting. And in Ghost's head. You'll see what I mean next chapter.

I'm also sticking to my two-week schedule, so I actually have a chance of maybe getting the next scene out in time. October 2nd is when scene ii will be dropping!!! >:)

On a separate note, I know Tui said she imagines RainWings with an Australian accent, but COME ON I think it fits the LeafWings better!!! They live in a jungle where there are huge bugs and everything is poisonous and wants to kill you? IT'S RIGHT THERE-

Actually, it just happened randomly as I started editing. I began reading Iris' voice with an Australian accent and then it just devolved from there. I can't unhear it, at least for her, and now I'm broken forever XD

Anyways, on with the reading!!!!! I hope you enjoy and that it's worth the wait!!! (let me know what y'all think too, I love replying to your comments!!)

"Your Majesty, please, I beg you, just three more days!"

"You've been here for barely three and a DartWing has already found the village!" -Ghost snorted. We shouldn't have brought him here in the first place- "I will not allow you sanctuary anymore. Take your chaos and leave my dragons alone." Finally! Will Atta see sense and go after Eight herself?

They'd been going in circles ever since Atta came to see the Queen of the LeafWings an hour ago. First, she explained what happened at the border, which prompted Sequoia to increase her defences immediately followed by pulling them back when she heard they'd brought a DartWing close to the village. She'd looked so angry. Ghost thought she would attack Atta right there but the LeafWing princess had intervened before things could devolve into an actual fight.

"I know and I'm sorry, Sequoia," Atta said for the millionth time, "I shouldn't have brought him so close."

Personally, Ghost didn't trust the DartWing, but Atta seemed to think he was their only hope. Ghost didn't know what to think – and what's more, his opinion didn't matter since she'd already decided – so he didn't say anything. He didn't stop his mind from flying circles around his anxiety, winding him up into a bundle of nerves ready to bite the ears off of anyone who looked at him wrong. Princess Hazel kept sending him worried looks but Ghost's glares were enough to keep her at bay.

Atta and Sequoia began another round of arguing and their roaring was starting to annoy Ghost. He stood to leave and paused when he realized, where would I go? He'd never decided to go anywhere before. At least apart from his four rooms back in the Alate's prison. Even when Atta took him on, his cage changed from four rooms above the Alates to following her around every day. Faced with a choice for the first time in – he couldn't remember how long – Ghost was faced with indecision.
