~ ♫♫ Don't let them see what
goes down in the kitchen ♫♫ ~Will's POV
I wake up to the sun peaking in through my blinds, glaring directly into my eyes, and I already want to dissapear.
The light hurts my head, but I ignore it and get up out of bed. I grab the clothes that I lay out yesterday and pull them on before heading to the bathroom.
(The outfit)
↓↓I walk out of my room and glance over at my living room to see my dad passed out with an empty beer bottle in his hand. I sigh and continue walking to the bathroom.
I brush my teeth like usual and wash my face before looking in the mirror to see a big bruise on my face. I touch it gently and my eyes water as I remember what happened last night.
I walk up to my front door and unlock it then say bye to Max and Dustin, and I walk inside.
"Who was that." I hear a slurred voice speak, and turn around to see my dad stood infront of me.
"Max and Dustin." I answer politely.
"Whos Dustin? Your little faggot boyfriend?" I hear him snicker.
"N- No, hes just my friend, dad."
I feel a sharp pain on my face and realised my dad just slapped me. Again.
"I TOLD YOU TO CALL ME SIR." He belted.
"I'm sorry sir." I stutter, starting to cry.
"God you're so fucking pathetic. BOYS. DON'T. CRY." He screamed at me, getting up close to my face.
"Y-Yes sir." I mumble
"Stupid faggot." I hear him scoff as he walked off, leaving me crying and bleeding.
End of Flashback
I feel myself tear up but I quickly stop myself.
'Boys dont cry.'
I hear my fathers words echo in my head.
"Boys don't cry." I whisper to myself, repeating what my dad has told me.
I walk out of the bathroom and walk silently out of the door, grabbing my bag and bike from outside. I had to leave it there because my dad got mad at me for bringing 'extra shit' into the house. I get on to my bike and start cycling to school, excited to see my friends.
I have a friend group of 6, or the 'party' as we call ourselves. Theres me, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Max, and El.
Me and Mike have been best friends since kindergarten, or we were best friends. He and El got together and I guess he just forgot about me.
I arrive at school and set my bike in the bike racks and walk over to my friends.
"Hey guys!" I smile
"Will! I missed you!" Max yells, giving me a big hug.
"I missed you too" I laugh hugging her back.
"Hey man!" I hear Lucas shout
"Will, its been so long since I saw you!" Dustin says to me.
"Dustin it's been about 12 hours." I chuckle.
"Still! Way too long!" He grins.
I smile at all my friends as Lucas and Dustin join the hug.
I look over and see El and Mike in their own little world having a conversation. Mike looks over at me and I smile, but he just looks away. It hurts the way he doesn't speak to me anymore.
My smile drops and I look away, knowing if I stared any longer I'd probably burst into tears.
"Hey, whats wrong?" Max frowns, they all untangle from the group hug and look in the direction I'm looking.
"Will, you need to get over him." I hear Lucas whisper to me, and I lower my eyes in shame.
"I- I know, but it's difficult." I mumble.
"He's only gonna keep hurting you, why don't you just try and talk to him." I hear Dustin suggest.
"No. No way. He would hate me." I shut down his suggestion almost immediately.
"Well then you need to get over him." Max scolds me.
I just sigh and walk into the school and head over to my locker. I close the door and see someone I was hoping I wouldn't run into to.
"Morning, pathetic fucking fag." Troy sneers.
"Troy please just leave me alone." I mumble.
"No. Your people brought Aids into this town and you need to face the consequences, dont you?" He chuckled as he pushed my head right into my locker.
It makes a loud clang and I feel a sharp pain in the front of my head. I groan as he walks off, laughing to himself.
What a great morning.
I walk into my first lesson, English, and sit down.
I sit next to Mike in this lesson, but like usual he isn't here. Probably skipping to suck face with Eleven.
I sigh and decide to just doodle in my book for the time being.
