"I- I think I'm in love with you." Mike looked down at Will, and his eyes were wide.
"Wh-. . . What?" Will whispered, not believing him.
"Will. I love you." Mike mumbled, sitting down next to him.
"No, Mike don't do this. . ." Will frowned, moving slightly away from him.
"Woah, do what?" Mike was evidently confused, his brows furrowed.
"I- I know you don't like me and it's just some prank." Will mumbled.
"W-What? Why would I prank you?" Mike asked him.
"No, no, somebody told you. I'm not stupid." Will began to tear up.
"Told me what?" Mike asked him, exasperated.
Will was silent for a minute, scanning Mike's face, before blinking away his tears.
"Y- You don't know?" Will confirmed.
"Know what!?" Mike groaned.
"That I like you." Will whispered, and Mike's eyes widended.
"Seriously?" Mike smiled.
"Yeah. . ." Will blushed, shying away.
Mike grinned and pulled Will into a massive hug, causing Will to giggle.
"Mike! You're squeezing me!" Will giggled, trying to wriggle out of Mike's grip.
"Sorry, I'm just relieved." Mike laughed slightly.
Mike let go of Will and they were both silent for a minute, a small smile spread across both of their faces, before Will spoke up.
"S- So what does that make us?" He whispered.
Mike was silent for a few seconds, trying to think, and Will panicked.
"I'm sorry that was a silly qu-" Will mumbled, before being cut off by Mike kissing him, and his eyes widended but he immediately kissed back.
He pulled away gently, and they both opened their eyes at the same time, their cheeks bright red. They both just stared at each other, in shock of what just happened, before a shy smile spread across Will's face.
"Boyfriends?" Will whispered.
"Boyfriends." Mike nodded, grinning.
Will looked up at Mike, but he was already looking at Will, and he blushed and turned away.
"Did I make you shy, Byers?" Mike grinned, and Will covered his face with his hands.
"This is embarrassing!" He whined, throwing himself back onto the bed.
Mike chuckled and pulled Will up, giving him a hug.
"What's this for?" Will laughed slightly, wrapping his arms around Mike's neck.
"I just-. . . I never thought I'd be able to tell you." Mike whispered, looking down at his boyfriend.
"Well you did." Will smiled softly.
Mike gave him another small kiss on the forehead, before letting go of Will.
"Wanna go and see the others?" Mike asked.
"Yeah, sure." Will grinned, connecting his hand with Mike's.
He pulled Mike out of the door, forgetting to disconnect their hands, and went back over to their friends.
"Hi!" Will smiled, sitting down on an empty couch.
"Hi!" Max grinned, knowing exactly what's happened.
"Why are you staring at me like that. . ." Will narrowed his eyes at Max.
"Like what?" Max's voice cracked, and Will raised his eyebrows at her.
"For god sake just say what happened!!" Max groaned.
"Wh- Nothing happened!" Will blushed.
"William." Max raised an eyebrow.
Will tried to hide his smile, but Max quickly caught on.
"You're smiling!" Max grinned, and Will whined and covered his face with his hands.
"Shut up. . ." He muttered, his entire face bright red.
Max turned to Mike and gave him a dirty look.
"Just so you know, Wheeler. I know exactly what happened in there and if you dare break his heart you watch out because I will kill you an-" Max was cut off by Will slapping her mouth.
"Max leave him alone." Will warned, and Max scoffed.
She mumbled something nobody could hear before turning away.
"Uh, anyways. . ." Lucas spoke up.
"So. Anything you guys want to tell us?" Dustin grinned.
"Yeah, well you already clearly know but I'm gonna tell you anyway, me and Will are dating." Mike grinned.
Lucas and Dustin both squealed, pulling Will into a hug.
"Guys you're squeezing me-" Will tried to speak.
"Finally you're dating!" Lucas beamed, pulling away from the hug.
"What do you mean finally?" Mike looked over at him.
"Nothing. He's being stupid." Will interjected, shooting Lucas a warning look.
"We have pictured you both together for like YEARS." Max admitted, making Mike blush.
"What!?" He shrieked, now feeling embarrassed.
Will giggled slightly, and Mike rolled his eyes.
"You're all annoying." He muttered, trying to hide his red cheeks.
"Aww you love us though!" Max grinned, pinching Mike's cheeks.
"Get off of me!" Mike tried to smack her off of him, but she stayed firmly attached to him.
"My little Mike, all grown up." She cooed, doing her best to make him embarrassed.
"I hate you all." He scoffed, giving up.
"Max leave him alone." Will pried Max off of him, causing her to scoff.
"Whatever." Max let go of Mike's cheeks and slumping back onto the couch.
Mike opened his mouth to say something, but the doorbell rang.
Everybody seemed puzzled, who would be ringing the door bell right now?
"Uh, who's answering it. . ." Lucas muttered.
"Absolutely not." Will muttered, slumping down so that whoever is at the door wouldn't be able to see him.
A chorus of 'Not me!' and 'I'm not' rung through the living room, and Mike sighed.
"DAD!" He yelled, and his dad came walking out from the kitchen.
"Yes?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Can you get the door.." Mike gave his father a toothy grin.
"Michael, the door is right there?" Ted tried to stiffle a smile, seeing his son and all of his friends scared to open the door.
"Please!" Mike begged.
"Yeah, sure. You all should probably go upstairs." Ted gave in, and Mike grinned.
"Thanks!" He gave him a quick hug, before everybody went running up the stairs.
Ted walked over to the door and opened it, frowning slightly.
"Uh, hello?"
i love making Ted nice idk why i just do 😛
