Mike's POV
Me, Lucas, Max, El and Dustin had all just woken up and we were planning what to do today.
"We should try and call Will again, maybe he will answer the phone this time." Max suggested.
"He doesn't like me.." I mutter.
"Mike. Of course he likes you, Will is way too nice to dislike you." Dustin rolled his eyes.
"Well when you all weren't here I tried to talk to him but he just cut me off a-"
"Mike?" A staticy voice stopped me from speaking.
It's Will.
"Dude answer!" Lucas hissed, grabbing my walkie from beside him.
"W-What do I say?" I mutter, making sure the walkie won't pick up my voice.
"Just say something back!" Max smacked my arm, and I began to panick.
"What- What if I mess up again?" I whisper, begining to bite my nails.
Lucas smacked my hand away from my mouth as he knows how bad of a habit that's become.
"Just say something, it can't be that bad!" El urged, and I sigh.
"Okay, okay, I'll t-"
"Will. Do you want to see your mother?" A mans voice came through the walkie.
"I-I.." We all heard Will stutter, before it went silent for a few seconds.
"Baby please.." Joyce spoke.
"William." The man's voice came through the walkie again.
"He doesn't like being called William." We heard Joyce scoff.
"I d-don't know.." Will whispered.
"Why does he look so scared?" Joyce asked.. somebody?
"I don't know." The man's voice boomed.
"Come on, son. Why don't we talk about this in another room." The man spoke for the last time before it all went silent.
"Lonnie. That's Lonnie speaking." I whispered.
"Why the hell is Lonnie in Will's house?" I look around at everybody, but they're all staring at me.
"Mike.. He told us ages ago that he moved in with Lonnie?" Lucas raised an eyebrow.
I feel my heart drop.
"W-What..?" I whisper, not believing them.
"Mike he's been living with Lonnie for about two and a half years." Dustin told me.
"No, no you're lying." I mutter, not wanting to believe them.
"Why are you so scared? Mike what's wro-"
"So?" Joyce's voice cut me off.
We all went silent and gathered around the walkie.
"Do you want to see me?" Joyce spoke up.
"I-I don't-" Will started, before we heard loud crying.
I look up and me and Max both share a concerned look.
"Will what's wrong?" Joyce whispered, the concern evident in her voice.
"I don't want to see you." We hear Will stammer.
I frown at this, Will loves Joyce? Ever since we were little she and Jonathan were her most favourite people.
"B-But baby I'm- I'm your mum?" We heard Joyce's voice break.
"You heard him! Now get the fuck out of my house!" Lonnie's voice boomed through the walkie, and we heard faint foosteps before a loud slam.
"There's something wrong, I'm telli-" i try to speak, but I get cut off my Lonnie's voice again.
"What the fuck did I tell you!" Lonnie screamed.
I see everybody look up, obviously confused, but I know exactly what's wrong.
"I'm sorry.." We hear Will cry.
"You are a little bitch you know that." Lonnie hissed, and we can hear the venom in his voice.
"No please I'm really sorry!" We heard Will plead.
"Why is he apologizing?" Max whispered, before we all heard a loud smack.
We all go pale, and we can hear Will wailing.
"I'm sorry! Please, please I'm really sorry!" Will's voice became increasingly louder.
The sound of skin colliding with skin began repeating and we all heard Will's wails get louder and louder.
"Stop fucking crying!" Lonnie screamed.
"I'm sorry!" Will wailed, his voice breaking.
"Boy's dont fucking cry!" Lonnie yelled once more, before we heard loud footsteps getting gradually quieter.
Will's wails echoed throughout the room as the radio began to break his voice up.
"Mike. Fucking say something." Max hissed.
I nodded hurriedly and picked up the walkie.
"W-Will?" I speak into the walkie.
I hear the crying quieten down significantly, and I hear him moving something.
"M-Mike?" Will's voice broke.
"Will what the fuck happened?" I frown.
"I-I need help, Mike please help." Will pleaded, and Mike felt his heart break.
"Where the hell are you?" Mike got up, leaving everybody sat there.
"I'm n-near my old house, j-just go to my old house and then go down t-the old creepy road that we were a-always too scared to go down." Will told Mike, who unlocked his front door.
"Will. You need to stay out of sight and keep this walkie on you at all times, never turn it off." Mike ordered, walking out of the house.
He began to unlock his bike when he heard his name being called.
"Mike where are you going?" Eleven spoke up as everybody appeared behind him.
"I'm going to help him." Mike looked back at them, getting his bike and sitting on it.
"Mike wait-"
"I'm going. Follow me or don't I don't care but do not try and stop me." Mike shot them all a nasty glare.
"..We'll wait here for you both." Lucas sighed.
Mike gave them all one last look, before setting off.
