3rd Person
"Uh, hello?" Ted frowns slightly, not knowing who this man was.
"Is Will Byers here?" The man asked abruptly.
This made Ted frown even further, he had only ever seen Joyce or Jonathan come to pick him up, who is this?
"Why? Who the hell are you?" Ted scoffed, feeling the need to protect the younger boy.
"I'm his father. And I would like to know if he is in here or not." Lonnie snapped, and Ted's eyes widended.
He had heard about Will's father from Karen, and he knew he was not good news.
"Yeah no, he's not here." Ted muttered, slamming the door in Lonnie's face.
The party were on the stairs, listening to the entire thing and Will could feel his heart racing.
"How did he know about your house?" Will panicked, looking up at Mike.
"I-I don't know.." Mike muttered, feeling his heart pound.
"Mike he can't find me, he will kill me." Will whispered, feeling his heart racing.
"He won't find you, I promise." Mike muttered, giving Will's head a small kiss.
Will shook his head, fear began to fill his entire body.
"No, no, he will find me. He's always able to find me." Will muttered, feeling himself tearing up.
"Will, please it'll be okay-" Mike tried, but Will cut him off.
"Mike you don't understand how insane his is! Last time I tried to escape he was able to find me within half an hour and I was all the way on the other side of town! I'm not even twenty minutes away from my house!" Will panicked, and the tears began to slip.
"I'm scared, I'm scared!" Will began to repeat, his ears ringing.
"Will, it's gonna be okay." Mike knelt down next to the smaller boy, gently resting his hand on top of his boyfriends.
"Mike I'm scared!" Will began to breathe faster, his heart racing.
Mike signalled for everybody else to go up to his room, so they did.
"He's gonna kill me, Mike. I don't wanna die! I don't wanna die!" Will began sobbing, and Mike was now visibly panicking.
"No, mo please my love it's gonna be okay.." He tried to calm down Will, but nothing would work.
"Im scared." Will sobbed into his hands, and Ted appeared at the bottom of the stairs.
"What's going on?" He frowned, his face worried.
"I-It doesn't matter, it's fine." Mike tried.
"This doesn't have something to do with that guy who was just at our door, does it?" Ted asked them both, and Will nodded.
Ted went to open his mouth, but the sound of police sirens echoed from outside of his house, and he went over to the front door to see what was going on.
"What the hell.. Why are the police in our drive." He muttered, opening the door.
Will was still sobbing quite loudly, and Mike was trying to quieten him down so that the officers wouldn't ask any questions.
"Excuse me, sir. We think there is a child in here who is not yours." The officer spoke.
"Yeah well obviously, my son has friends round?" Ted scoffed, and it went silent for a second.
"Why can I hear a child crying." The officer spoke grimly.
"My sons a very.. emotional person." Ted tried, making the officer scoff.
"I'm going to need to examine your house, Mr Wheeler." The officed announced.
Ted sighed and moved out of the way, knowing there was no point in protesting.
The man walked over to the stairs and saw Mike hugging Will, who was trying his best to muffle his crying.
"William, you're going to have to come with me." He spoke gravely.
Will shook his head, latching onto Mike.
"It wasn't a question, young man. Come with me." He warned.
"I'm not going back to him." Will cried, and the officer rolled his eyes.
"Listen, kid. I don't have time for these stupid pranks. Get back to your dad. He's worried." The officer scowled.
Lonnie walked inside of the house and glared down at his son, his face furious.
"Come on, son." Lonnie spoke, and Mike could hear the venom in his voice.
Lonnie wrapped his hand around Will's wrist, griping it tightly, and pulled him off of the stairs.
Will began bawling, absolutely terrified of what his father would do to him once they got home.
Lonnie slammed him down into the back of the police vehicle, sitting down next to him so that he could keep a firm grip on the young boys wrists.
"Alright, are we all good to go?" The officer confirmed, looking back at the two.
Will shook his head, trying to escape.
"Yeah, let's go home. Thanks man." Lonnie grinned, and Will's heart sunk.
This was Lonnie's friend. There was nothing he could do to get out of this situation.
"No problem, now let's get you both home." The man grinned, a horrible expression on his face.
Will began to sob violently, not caring what Lonnie or his friend thought.
He'd be dead soon anyway.
