3rd Person
(The next morning)
Will woke up, wincing at the feeling of his pillow rubbing against his cheek.
He felt his head hit something hard, so he looked to see what it was and it was the walkie.
He picked it up, examining it, before deciding to try and talk to Mike. He had woken up quite late so he should be awake by now.
"Mike?" Will whispered, before he heard something from outside of his room.
He placed the walkie down on his bedside table, and sat up to try and listen
"Lonnie where the hell is he? I know something is happening and I am going to find out." He heard a woman's voice.
"Joyce get the fuck out of here! He's my son and I can do whatever the fuck I want with him!" Lonnie yelled.
"He's my son aswell!" Joyce yelled back at him.
"Well he doesn't want to see you!" Lonnie spat, and Will's eyes widended.
I want to see my mum, I'm going out.
Will went over to his door and tried to leave, but it was locked.
"No, no please open." Will hissed, trying to pull open the door, but jt wouldn't budge.
"He does want to see me. I'm not stupid Lonnie, where is my son." Joyce spoke gravely.
"He doesn't want to see you! Get the fuck out of my house before I call the cops!" Lonnie scoffed.
"N-No you're lying. Will wants to see me." Joyce continued to argue.
"No he doesn't." Lonnie spat.
Will wanted to yell and scream for his mum, but he knew that wouldn't help anything.
He heard footsteps coming towards his room, so he backed away from the door.
He heard it unlock and the door opened, and there stood his mum and dad.
"Will. Do you want to see your mother?" Lonnie asked him, and Will knew what he wanted him to say.
"I-I.." Will started, but no words came out of his mouth.
"Baby please.." Joyce whispered, her eyes filling with tears.
"William." Lonnie warned, his voice quiet.
"He doesn't like being called William." Joyce spat.
"I-I don't know.." Will muttered, still in shock after seeing his mother for the first time in years.
"You don't know?" Lonnie scowled.
"I d-don't know.." Will's face became evidently scared.
"Why does he look so scared?" Joyce turned her head towards Lonnie.
"I don't know." Lonnie spoke gravely, keeping his eyes on Will
"Come on, son. Why don't we talk about this in another room." Lonnie spoke through gritted teeth, tightening his arm around Will's shoulder.
Will visibly flinched, causing Joyce to worry, but before she could say anything Lonnie had already swept Will away into another room.
He slammed the door behind it and pushed Will down onto his bed, leaning down to get to eye level.
"You are going to walk in there and tell your mother that you do not want to see her. You say anything else and I will beat you to a bloody pulp. You hear me?" Lonnie whispered, his tone fierce.
Will teared up and nodded reluctantly, and Lonnie grinned widely.
"That's what I thought." He grabbed Will's arm tightly, and Will yelped.
He dragged Will back into his bedroom where Joyce was stood and pushed him out in front of her.
"So?" Joyce turned to face her son immediately.
"Do you want to see me?" Joyce asked him.
"I-I don't-" Will tried, but he ended up bursting into tears.
Joyce looked up at Lonnie, evidently confused, and she saw Lonnie looking down at Will with pure hatred.
"Will what's wrong?" She whispered, bending down slightly to see Will's face.
"I don't want to see you." Will sobbed, covering his face with his hands.
Joyce stood there, dumbfounded.
"B-But baby I'm- I'm your mum?" She whispered.
"You heard him! Now get the fuck out of my house!" Lonnie yelled at her.
Joyce kept her eyes glued to Will for a minute, before walking away feeling defeated.
Lonnie slammed the front door behind her, before storming back into Will's room.
"What the fuck did I tell you!" Lonnie screamed at Will.
"I'm sorry.." Will sobbed into his hands, scared to look at his fathers face.
"You are a little bitch you know that." Lonnie spat, and Will looked down at his father's fists to see them tightened.
"No please I'm really sorry!" Will tried to back away from Lonnie, but it was too late.
Lonnie's fist collided with Will's face, causing him to begin bawling. Lonnie gave him a hard smack across the face, and Will could taste the blood in his mouth.
"I'm sorry! Please, please I'm really sorry!" Will tried to shield himself but it was no use.
Lonnie was repeatedly slapping Will's face, causing Will to cry even louder.
"Stop fucking crying!" Lonnie spat, giving him one last hard smack.
"I'm sorry!" Will wailed, his voice breaking.
"Boy's dont fucking cry!" Lonnie bent down in Will's face, before giving him one last small punch and walking out of his room.
Will stayed there and bawled his eyes out for what felt like hours, before he heard a voice.
"W-Will?"
