Mike was halfway through explaining what happened at the hospital when he heard loud knocking at the door. His father had just left which left only the party in the house, so Mike was forced to answer the door. He got up and reluctantly opened the door, his eyes widening with horror as he looked down at his boyfriend who was stood there, his face splattered with a mix of tears and blood.

"I- I killed- I killed him, Mike. . ." Will whispered, his entire body shaking.

"You- What? Who the hell did you kill!?" Mike shrieked, pulling Will inside of the house.

"I- I wasn't going to, he- he kept coming towards m- me and I-" Will tried to talk, but instead just burst into tears.

"Hey, hey, it's okay. . . Just, come inside. I'll get you a blanket." Mike sighed, closing the door behind the boy and bringing him inside.

"What- What did I do? I- I killed my o- own father. . . I'm a m- monster!" Will cried, his breath becoming unsteady as Mike brought him over to the living room.

"No, no, you're not a monster. You defended yourself, I'm really proud of you, okay? I will get you cleaned up and then we can have a chat. Someone can go and call Joyce, let her know you are with me." Mike spoke softly, gently sitting Will down on the couch.

Will nodded shakily, trying to steady his breathing as his entire body trembled. While Mike went over to the kitchen to grab a cloth, Max gently hugged Will, letting him cry into her chest.

"It's okay. . . Just let it out, Will. You'll feel much better if you do." Max whispered, her hand gently moving Will's hair out of his eyes.

"Okay. . . Just, look up for a moment, Will." Mike sighed as he knelt down in front of where Will was lay, a small cloth in his hands. Will lifted his head up and let Mike wipe the blood off of his face, his crying calming down as Mike cleaned him.

"There, all done. You feel any better?" Mike spoke softly, his hand gently cupping Will's cheek.

"A- A bit." Will sniffled, still shaking slightly.

"Good, while I was gone I called Joyce and she will be over within a few minutes. Do you want anything? I can go out and get you something if you'd like?" Mike offered, his voice soft as he looked down at his boyfriend.

"You- You don't need to spend y- your money on me." Will sighed, looking up at Mike with a guilty look on his face.

"I want to. Now, what would you like?" Mike told him, his voice firm.

"Um. . . Reece's pieces?" Will asked shyly.

"Yeah, of course. I'll be back in a few." Mike smiled before getting up.

"I'm coming with you, I wanna buy some food aswell!" Lucas grinned, getting up and following Mike out of the house. As the two where getting their bikes, Lucas turned to Mike and scanned his face for a moment.

"You worried about him?" Lucas asked him, examining the worry that had began to creep onto Mike's face.

"Yeah. . . I mean, this is definitely not what I expected to happen? I knew he would fight back somehow, but. . . I don't know, this was just- I didn't think he would ever do something like this." Mike sighed softly as he got onto his bike.

"I mean, not that he did anything wrong. I think we have all been wanting to shoot Lonnie for as long as we can remember. I just-. . . I don't know." Mike sighed as they began to cycle to the shop closest to them both.
