Part 21

Ella’s POV (1 year later)

I’ve been working on Paramount Studios for over a year now. I love my job in the editing department Scott helped me a lot landing jobs in the other shows as their editor. The first few weeks were distracting because of Logan, but Big Time Rush finished shooting a few months back, so now I can work in peace. 

This weekend, was a weekend like any other. Logan and I were celebrating our first year together. He was taking me to his parent’s lake house. 

When we got to the lake house the sun was setting. Logan took me on a walk along the lake. It was beautiful. We headed inside and he told me to get ready. When I come down the stairs I find a note that said go to the backyard. I headed out the door and there was a rose petal path leading to a romantic candle lit dinner for two. 

-“Oh Logan this is beautiful!” I said as Logan hugged me from behind

-“I did it all for you babe” we made our way to the table. As we talked Logan seemed a little nervous wait…. Is he doing what I think he’s doing? Will he propose? 

Dinner was lovely. Logan stood up and put some slow music on and extended a hand for me to dance with him.

-“You look beautiful tonight Ella. Happy 1 year anniversary, I love you!” he said to my ear as we danced.

-“Happy anniversary, I love you too!”

He scooped me up bridal style and leaned to kiss me.

-“Ready for dessert?” he said against my lips. And carried my all the way to the bedroom. 

Tonight will be a night that I’ll never forget.

3 weeks later

-“Hey baby you ok? You look uncomfortable” Logan asked 

-“Yeah I’ve just been a bit nauseous today. I think it was last night’s takeout”

-“Just go to the doctor to be sure. Please!”

-“OK just because I know you won’t stop nagging about it all day”

I called Paramount and said I would be a bit late for work and made my way to the doctor’s office. After a few tests the doctor came in.

-“Elizabeth?” 

-“Yes?”

-“I have big news for you!” The words of the doctor scared me a little. Would the news be bad or good? I guess the doctor saw the fright in my face because he said “Sweetie don’t worry it's nothing bad.”

-“Oh thank goodness! So what’s the good news hen?” 

-“Congratulations you’re pregnant!”

My eyes light up as soon as he said those words. All I could think of on my way back to work was ‘I’m going to be a mom!’ I can’t wait to tell Logan.

Today was a killer day at work but it went by fast. I couldn’t wait for Logan to get home he said he was in a meeting today. 

I heard the front door open and I rapidly made my way downstairs. Logan had a huge grin on his face.

-“Hey beautiful” He gave me a kiss and said “I have great news for you”

-“Good because I have to tell you something too, but you go first”

-“ok…. Big Time Rush got renewed for a new season and they want us to do a new album!”

-“Oh…” 

-“So… now what did you want to tell me?”

-“I-I… I’m… going to visit my mom for a while. She just moved to New York near my aunt.”

I had to lie to him. Having a baby in his life would ruin his career. I can’t let his hard work go down the drain. What am I going to do…?
