"You really plan on going huh?" Shinobu's voice sounded dry as he spoke to me, standing by me at the air field.
"I need to leave this place for the time being, hopefully find some more answers about myself." He let out a chuckle as I do the same.
"Well, I hope you find it. Now, I've hooked you up with the plane from an old friend, I call him Steve. So if you ever need another plane, call him." He gave me a piece of paper with a number on it and shook my hand, pointing with his other hand to Steve, a man with a chubby figure wearing very concealing clothes. He had an excited smile on his face as he waved at me.
I return the gesture, a small smile on my face before raising my eyebrow and looking back to Shinobu.
"By the way, should I go to the toilet before I get on the plane?" He shook his head, confusion spreading on his face. I nervously stare at the plane. It was smaller than the conventional, I think Shinobu said it was a private plane.
"No, there's one on board." He catches my glance to the plane, wondering what I was thinking. "Is this your first time on a private plane?" I nod my head.
"It's my first time on any plane." I pick up my bag, wrapping it around my shoulders. I turn back to Shinobu, giving a nod to him before turning away and walking.
Two men were waiting by the stairs into the plane, both wearing suits.
"It's good to meet you Samurai, we'll give you the details on the plane."
I make my way into the plane, taking a seat by the window and watching as we take off.
I couldn't help but stare in wonder at how high up we were, never being up so high in my life.
I kept myself busy for the time being, trying to remember everything I could about Poland and why it was at a civil war.
The president had been anonymously leaking false documents about weak quirks and quirkless, inciting violence and discrimination between the citizens. This only helped when he tried passing laws to prevent those with weak quirks from gaining access to public services, like education and healthcare.
When records about the documents being fake surfaced, along with who they were leaked from, the country was divided.
It was the people against their country.
People stared fires in government buildings and after a certain period of time, some cities had been taken control of, but not enough. The government still had control of the greater amount of area, and people.
They were willing to throw as many lives as it took to get the people under their control.
A once beautiful country had been turned into a war zone.
All because of quirk discrimination.
A voice cuts my thinking.
"Samurai. We're nearly landing so I figured I would come and inform you of the situation." My name gets my attention, turning to the man who greeted me. I give him a short nod as he took a seat, handing me a file. "As you may know, Poland has been at a civil war with the government for almost a year now due to several laws surrounding quirk usage being put in place." I open the file, finding a map with a cross around a couple of their cities. "The crosses show which cities the people are currently in control of, all of which is north of the capital, Warsaw." I nod my head. A battle between the north and the south. "However, this is only a small percentage and the government is insisting on fighting back, going as far as locking people in their cities and sometimes even their homes to make sure no one joins the resistance." I turn the page, finding a picture of Polands president along with his son by his side. Both were wearing suits, their hair neatly brushed to the side.
