The wind passed by me as I stood in solitude.
My eyes bore into the building in front of me, a clear sense of what I have to do.
I'm ready.
Clara's POV
The cup in my hand refused to wash properly as I kept applying pressure, the smudge on the side refusing to leave.
I set it down for a moment, looking at the time.
I let out a sigh.
"Hey Akuma, It's the end of my shift." I didn't wait for her to respond as I went to sit down at one of our chairs, opening my laptop and relaxing.
I stretched my arms slightly as I sat, releasing the tension I've been building up for the past couple hours.
"Breaking news!" The tv inside the cafe was heard by everyone, causing me to lift my gaze from my laptop. "The villain group known as 'Anarchy' has released the police officers in a strange turn of events." I felt my confusion rise in myself as I take in the information.
I leaned forward, curiosity reaching its peak, and then I realised. A hand covered my mouth at the epiphany.
"It would appear that the vigilante known as Horu has handed himself over to the group in an effort to release them, which has worked." I leaned back into my chair, my stomach barely able to handle what I was feeling.
I quickly stood up, packing away my laptop and leaving the cafe.
Please be wrong.
Please don't do what they said you did.
I ran over to his warehouse, attempting to call his phone the whole way there.
But when I ran through the door, no one was there.
His phone lying on the desk, my caller ID lighting up the screen.
Nobody was at his house.
He actually did it.
He turned himself in.
I slumped down in his desk, confused as to what I should do.
But I heard a small beep, coming from his computer.
My eyes darted to the screen, finding a map of Musutafu.
The beep resounded again, and this time I could see it.
A small circle on the map appearing for a small moment before disappearing again.
What is this?
I leaned closer to the screen, listening to the beep again, watching the circle appear once more before disappearing again.
I let out a laugh as I realised his plan.
Of course this is what you did.
Okay, I'll find you Izuku.
I looked back down to the phone, seeing the detectives caller ID pop up, and I froze.
What do I say?
Kaneko's POV
I sifted through the files in front of me, my eyes moving to the screen in front of me, watching the front of the power plant, hoping that maybe they'll run out.
And I was right.
One after the other the officers started to run out, each of them trying to get away as fast as they could.
