Some things are better left forgotten (vigilante deku)

Author's thoughts

I'm currently writing most of this before I've even finished the 10th chapter but I wanted to write this down so I don't have to later.

This story has evolved into so much more than I ever thought it would.

From one story I started as something I could do when I was bored, to a third which I haven't even started thinking about much, is mind boggling to me and I hope I'm able to do this with future stories I may have. And the fact 'What's next?' has almost 40 thousand reads is even more insane. I actually feel kinda sad letting go of this story for the time being, since I don't want to add another story unless I'm 100 percent confident it will be good. I was just re-reading the last couple chapters and I couldn't help but tear up slightly, a big hit to my masculinity, because this story means so much to me and I hope you got the chance to enjoy it.

I would still like to hear what people think about another sequel to this story, revolving around one of Izuku's descendants who has the same biology as him. So please leave a comment on what you think.

Also leave a comment if you'd be interested in a completely different type of story, like the original ip of 'Trust no one.' Or even one of the other ideas I said in my 'What's next?' Authors thoughts.

I'm currently working on the story called 'Are you even real?' Which I've shortened to 'What is real?' So once I've started to publish that, I will announce it on 'What's next?' So please keep a lookout.

I'm also working on a betrayed Izuku story just to see where it could go. It will be based on the main story line, just after the internships, and It's gonna be quite different from others as he will become a vigilante who kills. He will also have one for all since I never understood how All Might could just take back his quirk, figured that would be a decision made by the vestiges.

I have made some extras which will be added to the end of this story. It will just be a chapter for small things like, Izuku's message to the teachers and Aizawa, and izuku meeting with Nezu and giving his final messages along with the movies that they made like I-island. Just small things which will seem nice to read and maybe increase the bonds between some characters.

NO, I will not be doing any lemons, before anyone comments. I'm not against them, I just don't want to spend time making them.

It feels awkward.

I'm hoping that everything has finally come full circle in the story. Little details in what's next might make a little more sense, and the reason why izuku wants to be forgotten at the very beginning.

I'm also hoping that it explains little things like why Clara isn't mentioned much in what's next, and when she is, it's very little.

And before anyone compliments me for thinking that far ahead, it was very improvised because I realised that I forgot Clara in the story, and I figured I could make it part of his backstory and give a more practical reason for that, rather than I forgot.

By the time I've posted all of the extras for this story, I will most likely have started to post a completely different story, probably what's real or the betrayed izuku story.

For 'what is real?' I have a good understanding of where I want that story to go. There is also another story where izuku has a levelling up system, which I'm gonna base off of Elden ring mostly, called 'the lands between.' I might change it and just solely based on it off solo levelling instead, but I'm not sure which route I want to go with just yet.

Obviously, I have made some references to the game Elden ring in this story, and if you understood them then I like you a lot more.

I didn't think I would be saying goodbye to this storyline for a while, but here we are.

I would like to thank everyone who commented or voted on my story as it really motivated me a lot more than people realise and the story would've turned out a lot different if I hadn't received these kind messages.
