??? December 2246
I opened my eyes with a struggle, the image of Haru at the front of my mind.
Was that real?
Or just another image my head made up in an attempt to fix what is already broken?
It took a second for my eyes to readjust, and once they did, I noticed a small child stood in front of me, with bushy green hair and diamond shaped freckles.
The room I was in had only one source of light, a blurry window close to the ceiling, not allowing me to see out of. I was in another cage, the same lock wrapped around my ankle.
The smell of meat assaulted my nose for a moment, but I didn't have the chance to focus on it, choosing to instead focus on what I was seeing in front of me.
"So this is what I become?" Their curious voice was nostalgic in a way. I focused more on his body, his clothes were barely hanging on as burn marks and cuts adorned his body. "Maybe it would be better if i died." I let out a sigh, looking at the boy I used to be.
I got off the ground and sat against the wall with barely any energy to try and move.
"Yeah... maybe."
Clara's POV
20th December 2246
I sat at the desk, watching the dot move across the roads, slowing down several times until finally stopping, moving into one of the buildings and becoming motionless.
I leaned forward, checking the location.
A butcher house.
I felt my worry peak at the thought of them hurting him.
I quickly stood up, running out of the building and getting in my car to drive to the location.
The cold from the snow didn't bother me as I ran to his location, my worry enough to warm me up.
I blocked most of the trip off as my own worry took the front seat.
When I arrived to the building, I couldn't help but stare in confusion.
From the outside it looked like every other building surrounding it.
I made sure the taser was in my pocket, checking Izuku's exact location once more and moving around the building.
Based on the satellite map, they were holding him underground, probably the basement.
I suppressed the groan at the possibilities.
Is this what Izuku deals with every night?
My question went unanswered as I look around the building.
I quickly went around the building to where he should have been kept, shining a light into a window, using my phone flashlight in hopes that he understood I was helping.
With not much else to do, I chose to head back to his warehouse, the cold starting to stab at my fingertips.
As I sat down at his desk, all the lessons on coding were flashing through my mind.
Time to put it to use.
I hacked into the local councils file, finding the information about the building, printing out the blueprints for the building.
I looked at the whiteboard Izuku had beside the desk, finding the face of Anarchy.
I walked up to it, flipping the board to the clean side and sticking up the blueprint and drawing a circle for where they were probably holding him.
