This chapter feels a bit more rushed than others, so take it with a grain of salt.

19th June 2250

A loud knock rings out through the building, causing me to squint my eyes. I struggle out of bed and look at the monitor near the end of my room, looking through the camera at the door.

Three men in suits were stood outside, the man in the middle seeming much more important.

Not recognising them, I quickly put on my samurai uniform, not having any other kind of clothing to put on that would conceal my identity.

I open the door, eyeing them carefully.

"Are you the Samurai?" My eyes narrow.

So they're from the underground?

I give a small nod, watching as they pulled out a contract. They tried walking in but I stopped them. The two men beside him lift up their suit and reveal a handgun strapped to their waist.

I let out a sigh.

I didn't have the energy to deal with this.

I move to the side, letting them walk past me and into my house.

I shut the door and follow them, leading them to a table we could talk at.

"We come from Chinese triad, and My boss is offering you a contr-" I cut him off.

"I'm going to save you a lot of time, I'm done. I don't do anymore contracts. Not anymore." His face turned angry as I cut him off.

"My boss isn't going to like that." I stood up, glaring at him.

"Are you threatening me?" The air felt thick as the men beside him stood up in preparation, their hands resting on their handguns.

"Don't you know our reputation?" I give a small smirk at his question.

"I know it quite well. But you clearly don't know mine." I keep my glare locked onto him. "So I suggest you leave before you find out." He let out a grunt, walking back towards the door.

Once I heard the door shut, I heave a sigh.

This isn't going to end nice.

They'll be back.

I know they will.

I go back to my room, grabbing every bit of gear I could find and prepared myself.

I don't know how many men they'll send, but I'll be ready.

I've met the triad before, and they have access to a lot of tech.

Tech they will use to get back at me.

I pick up a fabric I kept inside one of my draws, looking over the golden fabric in my hand.

Several hours later, I was wearing a suit covered in the golden fabric, watching from a safe room as several men began to gather around my doors, some even standing on my roof getting ready to breach.

Most of them were carrying rifles, infrared cameras sat on their heads.

I pull out my phone, going onto a certain app and looking over the options, clicking on the option that said 'rooftop.'

The man on the roof went flying upwards, a prototype concussive blast throwing him down, knocking him out.

Some men let out a shout as they begin to break through the doors.

I could hear the loud slams off each door breaking off their hinges but as they walked through another loud bang went off, a bang that also emitted a large amount of light.

They paused at the sound and light filling their systems, stopping them from making any sense.

As they paused, I clicked another button on my phone labelled 'ground floor.'

Electricity started flying as it shocked the men standing by the doors, knocking most of them out.

With over half of them finished, I grip the sword by my side.

Time to get to work.

I press one final button labelled 'smoke', watching as the entire warehouse filled with the name, listening to the sound of their infrared cameras turning on.

The golden material I wore was called a Mylar foil thermal blanket, which trapped any heat from leaving my body, not allowing me to be seen through their cameras.

I ran through my warehouse, swiftly taking out any thugs that came my way, making sure that their arms were useless as I fought my way through the building.

I threw several of my shock devices and made use of the smoke to make sure that no more damage littered my home.

I gripped the back of someone's head, lifting them up and throwing them into another. I jumped at the final guy and slammed my fist into their stomach, knocking the air out of them and slamming my fist into their head, knocking them out.

I take a deep breath, listening closely to any movement in the warehouse and once I was satisfied I disabled the smoke system, watching as the smoke slowly disappeared, allowing me to see all the men on the floor.

I let out a sigh, knowing how annoying it would be to get rid of everyone.

I made sure to grab each of their weapons, inspecting each one to make sure there wasn't any trackers or explosives stashed away and locked the weapons in the safe room.

After dragging them away and calling Aizawa for a van, I made sure none of them woke up, injecting a mild sedative so they would stay asleep for a couple hours.

Once I had seen the van, Aizawa gave me a questioning look, staring at the unconscious group behind me and the blown in doors.

"What the hell happened?" I let out another sigh. "Why are you golden?"

"I'll tell you later, just help me put them in the van."

After packing everyone away, Aizawa looked at me expecting answers.

I let out a sigh, stepping into the passenger seat.

A couple hours later, after explaining everything to him, I was now stood in front of everyone, watching the sun start to rise. They were all tied up, starting to wake.

Once everyone was conscious, I made sure their attention was on me.

"Listen up everyone, when you go back to your boss, you will make sure no one ever comes after me again." I held a heavy glare on each of them. "You came to my house, so you should consider yourselves lucky to be able to walk, let alone live. Do you undertand?" Most of them nodded their head in fear.

I start to walk away.

"In a couple minutes, that rope will disintegrate and you will be free to go. Make sure to never come back here."

I heave another sigh as I walk away, and once I was out of sight, I take of my mask, sweat dripping from my nose.

One small problem with Mylar foil. It traps in the heat.

I meet Aizawa by the van and take off as much of the suit as possible, leaving only the legs on.

"You don't mind taking me back to the warehouse? I need to fix some doors." He nodded his head, wasting no time and started driving.

I gave him a quick thanks and got back to work, changing into something more comfortable and installing some better doors. Ones that could withstand a heavy hit.

I took a quick shower and checked the time, a small smile invading my face.

I got to go pick up Rumi.
