Kabanata 23 - Dangerous

KHIANA's POV

THESE PAST FEW DAYS, a lot of things happened. Two days ago, pumunta dito si Hillary para guluhin kaming dalawa ni Ryker. It was stressful but Ryker stood up and said he loves me in front of her, it was enough for me. Hindi ko na dapat pa iniisip iyon.

Ryker went out today because of his business. Ngayon naman ay nasa opisina ako at hinihintay ng mag-alas singko ng hapon para makapag-out na ako. It was a bit boring to the condominium, puro movie and sex lang ginagawa namin ni Ryker. But at least, I have Ryker.

"Kumusta naman kayo ng bilyonaryo mong boyfre, girl?" tanong sa akin ni Eliz.

Sinenyasan ko siya na hinaan niya ang kanyang boses. "Shhh! Kaloka ka! Ang ingay mo girl!"

Humagikgik naman 'to. "So, ano na nga? Anong status?"

"Wala. Okay naman. I am very happy and content with our relationship," sagot ko sa kanya.

"Ay pak! Very showbiz ka d'yan!"

"Gaga!" Sabay kaming dalawa na tumawa.

After a few minutes, biglang tumunog ang phone ko. Then, I saw a message from Ryker. I instantly picked up my phone and checked his message for me.

From: Baby

Hi, baby! I can't pick you up later.

I have some important things to do.

Is it okay with you?

I instantly typed a reply to him.

To: Baby

Sure! No worries.

I'll be waiting for you in the condo.

Take care.

I checked my phone again and saw that there's another message from him.

From: Baby

But, I will pick you up later at 7 p.m.

Let's have dinner later in a restaurant.

I have a surprise for you ;)

Napangiti naman ako nang mabasa ko ang message niya. So, we will have a night out late. I am excited! It's our first time actually going out as a couple. Because usually we are stuck inside his condo.

To: Baby

Excited!!!

See you later! Mwah!

I got home around 6:15 pm dahil grabe ang traffic. Hindi naman kalayuan ang condo sa office ko ay medyo natagalan pa rin ako ng uwi. Pero pagkarating na pagkarating ko ay agad ako naghanap ng dress na maisusuot. I just chose a nude-colored tailored and form-fitting A-line dress. Then, I wore my gold necklace, earrings, and bracelet as my jewelry.

Simple lang ang pinili ko na damit. I hope that this is okay.

Ryker arrived and fetched me at 7:05 pm. Nakasuot siya ng puting long-sleeves and his black pants. Sa bisig niya ay ang Rolex niya. He looked so fresh and clean. His visual was overflowing with his simple attire.

"Ryker, what's the occasion? Bakit bigla yatang nag-dinner tayo sa labas?" I asked.

He smiled. "Hmm... Nothing much!"

He's hiding something.

Nang makarating na kami sa reserved seat namin ay manghang-mangha ako sa view. We're in the Amethyst Restaurant, a Filipino cuisine restaurant. Excited ako na matikman ang inihain nila na food.
