Ray entered the lair with a skip in her step, brimming with excitement for the evening she and the turtles had planned. Inside, she spotted Leo gracefully skating on the ramp, Donnie and Raph engrossed in watching something on Donnie's tablet, and Mikey diligently preparing a mouthwatering array of pizza-based dishes.

"Okay, we've got pizza rolls, pizza balls, pizza tots, pizza puffs, and duck a l'orange...PIZZA!" Mikey proudly unveiled the silver cover to reveal the scrumptious spread. Ray took in a deep breath, savoring the tantalizing aroma. "Smells good, Mikey," she complimented, grabbing a pizza roll and popping it into her mouth. Mikey's face lit up with joy as he hugged her, exclaiming, "Yay! You made it!"

Ray returned the hug and greeted her friends with a cheerful "Heyo." The three brothers reciprocated the greeting with a warm "Hey Ray." Donnie sighed contently, remarking, "As if today could get any more perfect." His tablet suddenly turned on, displaying the live coverage of the extreme skateboarding finals. "Live from Tokyo, the extreme skateboarding finals," the announcer's voice echoed in the lair.

The turtles began to gather around as Leo showcased his own skateboarding skills on the ramp. "Three hours of insane tricks. And the rumors are true. Sydney Allen will attempt a 14- on the Mega Ramp," the announcer exclaimed. Donnie couldn't help but express his disbelief, asking, "Is that even possible?" Mikey chimed in, "No way."

"She's gotta be a mutant." Raph says  "I want her as my sister." Ray added.

"Hey, I bet I could do a 14-40." Leo, ever confident, responded performing a handstand on his skateboard. "I will forgo my usual 'No, don't.' That's four rotations. That's crazy talk, Leo. And skip right ahead to cover the food," Donnie interrupted, with Ray, Raph, and Mikey quickly covering the delicious spread.

Leo, determined to push his own limits, yelled, "For Sydney!" As he flipped his skateboard and sped past his siblings and friend, they attempted to protect the food. However, Leo's missteps caused him to lose balance, resulting in a tumble while his skateboard went flying, unintentionally crashing into the wall-mounted router and breaking it.

"The Wi-fi! Wi-fi, skating, Raph watch, Donnie fix, Raph happy," Raph exclaimed, grabbing Donnie's tablet, which now had no internet connection. Donnie, panicking, yelled, "I need pre-game stats! Highlights of past stats, projections of future stats. We're missing the stats, people!" Chaos erupted in the lair as everyone frantically tried to come up with a solution.

Sensing the need to diffuse the situation, Raph intervened, saying, "Everybody, cool it. There are worse things in the world than— Oh, who am I kidding? Our lives are ruined." The room fell into a momentary silence until Ray suggested an idea. "Wait, why don't we go to my house?" she proposed.

Leo raised a valid concern, "But what about Daniel and David?" Ray reassured him, responding, "My stepdad and brother won't be there, and my mom is out of town. We'll be fine." The prospect of salvaging the evening by relocating to Ray's house brought a glimmer of hope to the turtles' faces, and they eagerly agreed to her suggestion.

Back in Ray's apartment, the turtles marveled at the luxurious surroundings. "Whoo, nice digs," Mikey commented, taking in the elegance of the place. Donnie reminded him, "We've been here before, Michel. Remember when we broke her door?"

Ray turned on the TV to resume watching the skating finals. Raph playfully acknowledged, "Ray swooping in and saving the day," giving her a fist bump. However, their moment of enjoyment was interrupted when David's voice called out, asking for Ray.

"Hide," Ray whispered to the brothers, and they quickly scattered to find hiding spots. As David entered the living area, he saw Ray sitting with a smile on her face, engrossed in the skating on TV. Curious, he remarked, "You watching skating?"
