"So where you headed next Russell? Another secret government hideaway special? I'm pretty sure a giant Gorilla has topped whatever's on your Christmas list." Davis said, Harvey laughed but winced at the same time as the medic redid the stitches on his head. "Well...you're right about that. But I'm actually gonna make my way back home. Take some much needed rest." "Where's home? Hey! Watch the arm." Davis said jerking his arm back, making Harvey chuckle.
"Got myself a ranch in Tennessee." "Got any family or do you just drink yourself to death?" "You know you sure do ask a lot of question there Mr. Okoye." "Just curious...remember...us assholes have to stick together. I saved your life and you saved mine. Don't want you killing yourself drinking to much bourbon."
Harvey smiled and hopped off the table, making his way over to Davis with his hands in his pocket. "I got a girl. Best damn thing to ever happen to me when she said I do. But I...I don't tell everyone that. That's why I don't wear a ring. Don't need some jackass come looking for revenge and hurting her." Davis nodded and gave him a sympathetic look. "I understand that." Harvey then turned around at the sound of someone calling his name, then he looked back at Davis, "Well...if your ever in Tennessee. Come look me up, my girl cooks a mean meal." "Will do Russell...and uh...thank you." Harvey nodded and then walked over to the agent who asked for him.
Harvey closed the door to the black SUV and threw his bag over his shoulder. Taking a sigh of relief.
"Finally home." He made his way up into the wrap around porch and towards the front door when he heard giggling coming from the backyard. He smiled and began his way back there where he saw his wife, Hannah laying on a blanket and playing with their 3 year old, Noah. Harvey took a moment and leaned against the wall just watching them. Every time he went on a mission Harvey always hated leaving his family. It was getting harder and harder with each time. He and Hannah wanted to spend more time together and wanted to have another baby. But work kept getting in the way and Harvey wasn't getting any younger.Just then Harvey met his sons eyes and they lit up with joy. "Daddy!" Noah screamed as he ran towards him. Harvey chuckled and met his son half way, picking him up with ease. "Hey champ! I missed you." "I miss you to daddy." "You been good for your mama?" "Only a couple of tantrums screaming for daddy." Hannah said smiling as she walked up to them. Without letting go of Noah, Harvey used his other arm and pulled Hannah into his arms. "Hey darlin'." Then he leaned down and kissed her soft lips lovingly, but before it could turn passionate their son covered his eyes and said, "Eww." Both Hannah and Harvey chuckled. "Now son...your gonna find a girl one day you really like and wanna kiss." "Uh uh, girls are gross!" Hannah shook her head and kissed her husband once more. "Welcome home."
Later on at dinner. Hannah was in the kitchen cooking when she felt Harvey come behind her and slide his arms around her waist. His scruffy beard against her soft skin as he kissed her neck. His body still warm from the hot shower he had just taken. She leaned back against him and smiled. "God I've missed you." He said. "I've missed you more. I was trying so hard not to call you when I saw the news. I was so scared for you." "I'm fine darlin'. I promise. If I'm gonna die it's going to be on a beach with a beer in my hand and you in a topless bikini."
Hannah laughed and smacked him playfully while she continued to cook. "Can you go check on Noah and get him ready for dinner?" "Actually...I need to talk to you about something really quick."
Hannah turned and faced him. "What's up?" Harvey took her hands in his and said, "I'm leaving OGA, and getting a supervisory special agents job at the local FBI office. Normal hours, desk jockey." Hannah looked surprised and asked, "Baby...are you sure that's what you want? You love your job." "I love you and Noah more. I want to be able to take a vacation, and spend time with you and Noah. Finally expand our family. Besides this job is a step up. More money."
Hannah slipped her arms around his neck and said, "Only if your sure baby. I don't want you regretting your choice later down the road and blaming me." "Darlin' the only way I would blame you is if you run off with another man on me. Then I'd be kinda mad." "Kiss me you fool." They kissed passionately, their lips battling for dominance but hungry for each other. Harvey bent down and picked her up, wrapping her legs around him and then turning to sit her on the counter. "Mommy! I hungry!" The couple pulled apart from their kiss, Harvey chuckled and said, "I'll get him. But we're not finished..."
