Emily stood behind the counter of her and her fathers General Store, looking over the inventory for the week when she heard the bell over the door.Emily looked up and saw Henry Delarue walk in. Emily smiled sweetly and closed the ledger she had opened. "Hello Henry." "Hello darlin'. Are you all by your lonesome self today?" "My fathers not feeling well. I told him to stay home today." "Does he need a doctor darlin'?" "We can't afford one...the stores not doin good right now and I can't take on another job. Between working here and at the saloon, singing, I barely have time to sleep."
"Well darlin'..." Before Henry could finish his sentence. The two Killian Boys and one of their friends walked into the store. Henry was hidden by one of the shelves so they didn't see him.
"Hello sweetheart. You singing for us tonight?" Emily who was trying to be polite said, "No sir, I'm not. Is there something I can do for you?" "Yeah...you can come upstairs and let us three show you how to really hit a high note there. Besides...I'm dying to see those melons of yours doll."
The three men laughed until the oldest Killian Boy felt the barrel of Henry's gun pressed into the side of his head. The room fell silent, and all you heard was the click of the safety.
"Do I need to teach you boys some respect in how to talk to a lady?" Henry asked with a partial growl in his southern accent.
The boy shook in his boots and said, "N...no...no sir. We were just having some fun with her Mr. Delarue."
"You listen here boy. You disrespect my girl again or touch her...hell even if you look at her wrong. I'm gonna teach all three you boys a lesson. You got that?"
"Yes...yes sir." Henry put his gun away and told the boys to get out. They ran so fast you see the dust flying. Emily couldn't help but giggle. Henry put his gun away and looked at her, smiling.
"I'm sorry bout that princess."
"Your girl?"
"Well...I know we never made it official darlin'. But if you'll have me? What do ya say? Wanna marry an old cowboy like me?
Emily walked over to him and grabbed him by the lapels of his jacket. Pulling him down so she could reach his lips as she kissed him passionately. His mustache slightly tickling her face.
Henry cupped her face and eagerly returned her kisses. When the need for oxygen arose they pulled apart.
"Damn darlin'. I'll take that as a yes."
Emily's eyes sparkled as she met his and said. "Yes...I'll marry you Henry."
Henry was so happy he picked her up and spun her around. Making Emily sequel and giggle loudly. He then kissed her again and set her down.
"Come on princess, why don't you shut the store down so I take you home and ask for your father for your hand in marriage. On the way I'll send for a doctor so he can get some medicine." "Oh Henry...you don't need to do that..." "I know, but family takes care of family. And he's part of my family now. Don't worry about the money darlin. You will never have to worry again about anything."
"I don't care if you were dirt poor Henry. I love you."
"I love you too princess. Now let's get goin."
"Alright just let me lock up and grab a few things. And by the way Henry?"
"Yes darlin'."
"I really like when you show me off as yours."
Henry chuckled and brought her close to his body. "Well what do ya say I take you over to the saloon, get their best room, and make you scream my name so loud the whole damn town hears it."
Emily blushed and said, "I'm already dripping with anticipation Henry."
She felt his erection grow hard against her and his eyes grow dark with lust.
"Oh princess...be careful. I'm gonna end up making the sweet belly of yours swell with babies before the weddin."
She kissed him once more and said, "I'm all yours Henry."
