Y/N P.O.V.:

I begin to wake up, slowly stirring awake. 'Fuck...My head hurts' I groan as I try to reach for my head, only to find that I couldn't. I look down and see that I had been handcuffed to the bed that I was in. 'Shit' I mumble.

I struggle, trying to find any way to get out, but I can't.

'You got to be shitting me' I groan in annoyance. Was I captured again? I didn't know.

'Don't jump to conclusions Y/N, think for once' I told myself. Okay, so that Sage, she didn't try to hurt me, nor was I tied up. And that girl was with her, and she was never with them before. There has to be something else going on here.

Just then the door opens again, revealing their leader, Brimstone. "Can I come in?", he asks politely. I don't say a word, I don't know what's going on,  so its best to just keep my mouth shut and gather as much information as I can.

He walks in and takes a seat next to my bed, I watch his every move as he sits down, waiting for him to do something. After he sits down, he looks at me for a hot minute, analyzing me. "You tried to kill one of our agents today, mind explaining why?", he said, calmly.

I didn't want to talk, so I just stare at him. "Listen kid, if you don't help me, then I can't help you understand what's going on", he continued. I take a second, thinking about it, but before I can respond, he gets up and opens the door.

"She has almost killed me, several times", I say.

He stops and turns to look at me from the door. "And so have you", I finish, coldly.

He sighs before stepping back inside and shutting the door behind him. "Listen kid, those people who hurt you, they aren't us... well, they are but, we aren't the same people". he said.

"That's exactly something they would say. Tell me why I should trust you", I ask, seriously.

He ponders at my question before finally answering, "You just have to, I can only try to explain it to you if you let me". I give him a look as if telling him to continue. He sits back down, a little too close for my comfort.

"So those people you saw, they are from another world, linked by the omega portal. They are us, they look like us, sound like us, but they aren't us. They came to this world to steal our radianite while also destroying everything in their path", he explained. I listen very carefully trying to understand what he was saying.

"They are evil, and do terrible things to people. But we are here to stop them, we are a highly trained and special group of people called the Valorant Protocol. We are made up of humans and Radiants alike, fighting against our omega world counterparts, because we are the only ones who can", he continued.

I was confused, another world?  Why am I only hearing about this now, I mean I knew about the radianite crisis, but no one from where I'm from knew why. We only knew that radiants were killers, and then they took me, and then they made me one of them, one of those killers.

"Are you going to let me out any time soon?", I asked. He looked at me, like he was thinking. "I need you to tell me everything you know first, who you are, how you were so messed up when we found you...", he said. I didn't want to tell them anything, but I knew it was the only way to get out of this mess.
