Y/N P.O.V.:

I woke up in a bed, inhaling sharply, as if the air had plunged a knife through me. I coughed and struggled for a minute, not exactly sure where in the hell I was.

"Hey, easy. Its okay", I hear a soft voice. Once my vision cleared a little, I noticed it was Sage.

I started to calm down a little, realizing that I wasn't dead, not yet anyway.

"What happened?", I ask.

Sage looked at me confused, "You don't remember?", she asked. I guess I should've been a little more specific.

"No, I mean. How long was I out?", I asked.

"Three weeks", she said.

I nod, but on the inside I was a little confused. 'Three weeks? How?' I wondered. I looked down at my arm, some scars still remained from the accident.

Then the realization hit me: My sword was gone, what was I going to do now? I was useless without it, or more accurately, dangerous without it.

"My sword", I said, looking at Sage. "What will I do now?", I asked.

She looked down and thought for a moment, before facing me again. "Its possible that another one could be made", she said.

Well that was good, at least I wouldn't be useless forever.

However, I had mixed feelings about it. I didn't understand how it was destroyed in the first place. I saw the whole thing, I was there, Reyna wasn't even doing anything but holding it. It didn't break because she had broken it...

My thoughts were interrupted by Sage. "You gave all of us a bit of a scare", she said. "You didn't look good, we all understand that I have the power to heal and resurrect, but what many of us forget is that it doesn't make death any less painful", she said, before putting her hand on my arm.

"Are you okay?", she asked.

No. No I wasn't okay. I was finally about to have what I had always wanted. I was going to be free, I was going to be with them, and that was taken from me.

"I'm fine", I answered. She nodded her head and walked to her table. "You should stay here a little bit and rest", she said.

Like hell I was, I rested for three weeks and I wasn't about to do more now.

"No, I've already rested", I said trying to get up, however I felt some serious pain in my body when I tried, and fell back to the bed.

Sage looked at me with an 'I told you so' look.

"Rest", she said.

I sighed and flopped my head back on to the pillow. A few minutes past, and Sage started a conversation with me.

"So what exactly happened?", she asked.

I thought about it for a second, trying to recall the details of the event.

"I was running at Reyna, she was about to kill Neon, and I don't know what happened to me, but it was like I was faster, stronger than before. But she was stronger somehow. Somehow she just blocked my strike with her bare hand like I was just some child swinging a stick at her", I said.

She looked like she was thinking hard about what I told her, but I could see fear hiding in her eyes.

"And she broke your sword?", she asked.
