It was dim at best. The trees surrounding the area made it darker than it actually was for the time of day. The branches danced with a subtle movement as the small breeze flowed through the land, making a someone peaceful scenery.

Sadly the peace didn't stay, as a contrail of lightning appeared, and disappeared, one would miss it if they blinked. Explosions followed not very far behind the mysterious blue lightning, disturbing the once peaceful landscape with booming sounds and clouds of dirt.

In the source of the lightning, a young woman with blue and yellow hair ran with everything that she had, knowing what failure would bring her.

"Jeez, this is getting intense," she thought as she continued to run. Where she was going? Only time will tell. . .

____________________________

A man sat patiently in the front of a small home, he was caught in his thoughts as he remained as still as a statue made of stone. He was concentrating his mysterious power, a power he himself was only beginning to discover the secrets to. But he had to focus in order to control the power that lied inside, should he lose control, only God knows what would happen.

It was a matter of discipline, he had the power to save the ones he cared about, or destroy them. The ladder was not an option for him, so he concentrates every day, trying to contain, and understand his power.

Suddenly, a loud boom rung through the area, followed by a small gust of wind in the face of the man. The disturbance caused him to finally reveal his eyes to the world, facing the one responsible for his loss in focus.

"Your traps aren't hard anymore. I'm just to strong I guess ," the woman said with a half hearted tone, whether she was trying to insult the man or feed her ego was the question, probably both.

"Good, then we can start the real training now," the man said, his manner unaffected by the woman's attempt to provoke him.

The woman groaned.

"Come on y/n, I've reached my max, I don't think I can get much faster than what I'm going," the blue haired woman complained.

Y/N

Codename: Shatter

Abilities: Reality manipulation, further abilities unknown.

"You don't think you can? Or you don't want to?" y/n asked in retaliation.

"You haven't even begun to tap into the real power you have, Tala," he stated, now standing up from his original sitting position.

Tala Valdez.

Codename: Neon

Abilities: Bioelectricity, superhuman speed

Neon sighed again. "Can't I take a break y/n? Please?" she almost begged him.

Y/N held his ground. "No," he stated firmly.

Tala groaned in defeat.

"Why do you have to be such a hard ass all the time," she mumbled, but made sure it was loud enough for y/n to hear.

"To ensure that your ready for what is to come," y/n stated.

What was to come? Nothing short of the fate of the planet. A battle that would decide the freedom of the planet they call home, or the destruction at the hands of the Omega world.
