Chapter 8

Just in case people are curious about how your character can kind of fight, this is the basic moveset, or the insperation for the moveset so if you want to know here is the basic jist of it. Its kind of hard to describe what it looks like. 

Y/N P.O.V.:

Well today I was supposed to get tested, they were going to put me in a practice room to test my aim and abilities. Aparently they needed to see a little of what I could do so they could design a suit that could meet my capabilities. 

Neon greeted me this morning at my door. 

"Come with me", she said. I followed her to where she lead me to a locker room looking area. 

"This one is yours", she stated, pointing at a locker with the number '24' on it. I opened it and it revealed...nothing. 

"You'll have to put stuff in there", she said while looking embarassed, even though there was no one here for me to embarass her with. 

"Right", I said back. I didn't really know what to put in here, but Im assuming I'll put my weapons and suit in here when I get them. 

After she showed me where my stuff would be, she took me to another place, it was an empty room behind the door, two windows allowed you to see inside. 

"This is the practice room, this is where you can practice your skills or aim while waiting for missions", Neon explained to me. 

"And this is where we will test you right now", she then stated. 

Then a few people walked into the room, Killjoy, Brimstone, Sage, Phoenix, and Yoru. 

"Guten Tag, I can't wait to start running some tests on you! Your abilities seem very interesting. And that blade! its like some radianite alloy, I've never seen anything like it, how did  you get it? I have so many questions, haha!", Killjoy said. 

Sheesh, she seemed hyper. She was like the 'other' Killjoy, but seemed to be more excited rather than evil. 

"Alright listen kid,  we are going to put some monitors on you, and then have you run this test. There will be training bots in there that will try and kill you, so treat this like a real excersize", he explained. 

I nodded in understanding, before Killjoy revealed some kind of sensors and tried to put them on me. I stopped her, I didn't want her touching me. 

"I've got it", I said blankly. 

"Alright cool", she said before pulling up a hologram screen right beside the windows that looked into the practice room. 

After I strapped some of the stuff to myself, the screens started to project some information. "What's that?", I asked. 

"Well this will measure your power levels, here is your heartrate, your brain activity, your stress levels, overall stamina, and others. We will gather data to get an idea of your overall power levels", she stated. 

How the hell could it measure my stamina? I didn't really care, but I didn't quite understand what she meant by 'Power levels'.
