Seungkwan sighed deeply and stared at the stars which were now visible. He had stayed in the rooftop ever since the headmaster announced for the activities to come to a halt for two days. He understood why. It was a difficult choice for Hongjoong and Seonghwa to make. They had to stay away from each other for who knew how long. It made him wonder how he would feel when he will have to part away from his soulmates once they figure out what he really is and who he was. He sighed and felt someone tapping his shoulder which startled him
"Relax. It's us."
A boy with mint hair stated as Seungkwan sighed again and turned around
"I don't wanna talk."
Seungkwan stated as the two males sighed
"At some extent we will have to."
A male with honey blonde hair stated as Seungkwan furrowed his eyebrows
"Why can't you two just leave me alone? Please understand, Vernon and Chan."
Seungkwan stated as Vernon, the mint haired, sighed and looked at Chan, the honey blonde haired
"Look, you know that we will practically not leave you. Do you wanna-"
Before Chan could complete, someone's phone rang which was Seungkwan's as he quickly pulled it out to see that it was the person he waited for. He quickly picked up the call with a bright smile, killing Vernon and Chan deep down since they knew who it was
"Hey babe-"
'We need to break up. I used you for my sexual desires for the past few years until my girl was of the right age to please me. So fuck off and don't call me again.'
Seungkwan was speechless. He was too stunned to speak while Chan and Vernon kept silent since they had heard the convo through the loud speaker Seungkwan had kept the call at. The person had already hung up which made things clear that the person really meant his words
"Let's go and drown ourselves in our miseries like we usually do."
Vernon spoke after a long silence while lending his hand as he thought that Seungkwan would reject his hand as usual but today was different. He grabbed it and pulled Vernon into a hug and started sobbing on his shoulders which made the two other males sad seeing him like that
"Shhh. It's okay. He was a piece of trash. All humans with no sense of humanity are."
Vernon whispered while playing with Seungkwan's hair to calm him down as Chan nodded and rubbed his back gently to ease him
"We promise to take care of you well."
Chan stated with a smile as he pointed at
his wrist and then at Seungkwan's and Vernon's, who took a look at it and saw that their code names had appeared followed by the rest of their teammates

"So that's why we couldn't leave you even if we wanted to. It was our soulmate bond."
Vernon whispered with a smile while Seungkwan smiled too but his fears took over him
"I-Is it normal for someone to have two soulmates instead of one?-"
Seungkwan asked while sniffling as Chan chuckled and nodded
"Yes. It is rare but normal. So don't worry okay?"
Chan stated with a reassuring smile as Seungkwan nodded, relieved that he found his soulmates. On the other hand, there was a light brown haired male in the library, flipping through pages of some books to help Seonghwa and Hongjoong convince their inner selves about them being soulmates
"What are you doing here in such an hour?"
A black haired male asked while walking towards the other male in the library, who looked up and smiled
"It's nothing Wonu hyung. I am doing a small research."
The light brown haired replied as Wonwoo sighed and looked at the male in front of him
"Look Mingyu, I will help you with it. I admit that you are smart but you are equally dumb as well."
Wonwoo stated as Mingyu pouted and patted on the chair next to him
"Any update about the two?"
Mingyu asked while flipping through the pages as he had been reading the books carefully to find the answer to his one question ever since the headmaster had made that announcement
"Yeah. Seonghwa seems to have let the question sink in but I don't think Hongjoong did it because he still hasn't come out of his room. I dropped Seonghwa off to Hongjoong's dorm to help Jongho and Yeosang get him out of there. They have to make the right decision for everyone's sake."
Wonwoo stated while flipping through the pages, already knowing what Mingyu wanted since he could read minds and was a bag of good luck
"That's right. What about Minho? How is he doing?"
Mingyu asked while stopped for a bit and glanced at Wonwoo, who smiled a bit
"He found his soulmate who is the warlock. And the two are planning to go to Hongjoong's dorm room to help him out of there."
Wonwoo stated as Mingyu clapped like a little child, making Wonwoo's heart melt at the pureness of the male next to him even if there were chances that they couldn't be soulmates. Wonwoo had taken a liking for the younger for a long time but he never dared to express it since he was afraid that because of how different they are, they may not be compatible with each other
"I am sleepy."
Mingyu stated while yawning, snapping Wonwoo out of his thoughts
"Get some rest then. We can come back here and look for more tomorrow. Plus I don't think you want scary things to happen."
Wonwoo stated casually as Mingyu gulped and tried to make himself small in his seat out of instinct which amused Wonwoo everytime since he enjoyed playing around a little bit with the light brown haired male
"Just kidding. Anyways let's get going. I will drop you off to your dorm room."
Wonwoo offered with a small smile which Mingyu gladly took as they both stood up, pushing the chairs in and leaving the books on the table but Wonwoo made sure to count the number of books there in case if one of them goes missing. They walked out of the library and saw that the lights of the hallways were off which scared Mingyu but Wonwoo kept a poker face and led Mingyu in the pitch black hallway and bumped onto something, making him stop
"Who's there?"
Wonwoo asked cautiously while Mingyu started walking backwards and bumped onto someone, making him scream
"YAHHHHHHH!"
