A slap sound echoed in the dorm room for 22 year olds (1999 liners)

"How dare you?! You hurt I.N! The precious maknae of our group Tricksters!"

Wooyoung exclaimed as Changbin held his cheek. He never expected things to go this bad but he took it all in

"And this one is for hurting our precious sunshine Lix!"

San roared angrily as he punched Changbin in the stomach, making him groan. Mingi aggressively grabbed Changbin's hair as Changbin winced in pain

"You are out of our group! And out of this dorm! So get lost!"

Mingi exclaimed as Yeosang tried to stop the three boys from beating Changbin further. Yunho and Chan silently watched everything while Yeonjun shook his head in dismay

"I can't believe that someone like you were Chan, Woo and my friend for years."

Yeonjun stated as San broke through Yeosang's grip and grabbed Changbin by his collar, dragging him and pushing him out of the dorm room

"Get lost! Don't you dare come back here!"

San exclaimed as he closed the door on Changbin, who helplessly stood up and walked away from there, forcing himself not to cry

"You aren't allowed in."

Seungmin stated while not looking at Hyunjin, who just looked down and turned away to leave

"Think of all you have done wrong! Don't you dare come back here!"

Jisung shouted from inside as Hyunjin took a deep breath before sprinting away from there. Tears streamed down his face as he made his way to the rooftop to see Changbin in pain. He rushed to him and saw the cut beside Changbin's lips, making him gasp

"It's o-okay. I am f-fine."

Changbin whispered as Hyunjin burst out crying. He hated the fact that he had to hurt his soulmate and best friend just to fulfill a promise he had made with Changbin

"I am sorry..."

Changbin whispered as he tried to calm Hyunjin down despite himself being in pain. Changbin knew and understood why Hyunjin was crying and he knew that he was at fault for this

"I-If this saves your sister then f-fine..."

Hyunjin whispered back as he tried calming his breathing down. Changbin let out a silent sob as he looked up at the sky

"I guess I finally understand what Seungmin and Jongho went through..."

Hyunjin stated after finally calming his breathing down. Changbin had found a way to save his sister and as much as he trusted everyone with this, he knew that taking too many supernatural beings with him would cause a lot of trouble considering that there were fairly good amount of hunters, waiting to hunt them down. And not to mention Hyunjin promising Changbin that he will help when Changbin is prepared to save his sister

"I hope that they don't mind with us gone for a while."

Changbin whispered as Hyunjin looked away and sniffled a bit

"They wouldn't. They practically don't care after what we did."

Hyunjin whispered as he stood up, followed by Changbin

"We need to go and eat something."

Changbin whispered as Hyunjin shook his head

"I-I don't want to."

Hyunjin stated in a soft and broken voice as he wiped his tears away

"You have to. You stay here. I will deal with them."

Changbin stated as Hyunjin had no choice but to listen to him. Changbin turned around and walked out of the rooftop and back inside. Heading straight to the cafeteria as students around him whispered

"How could he do such a thing? He is so stupid."

"He doesn't deserve them. They are too nice for him."

The students whispered as Changbin tried to act tough and ignore them but in reality, these words tore him apart. He had to hurry up so he used his speed and reached the counter of the cafeteria

"One iced Americano, 2 pork bellies and 2 kimchi fried rices please."

Changbin ordered as the lady gave him a dirty look before heading inside to get his orders. Changbin nervously waited as he could feel piercing glares at his back but he didn't dare to look back, afraid that he will slip up and break down. As the lady behind the counter got his orders, he took the items and was ready to leave but a weak and broken voice coming from the speakers stopped him in his tracks as he listened to the person with his heart breaking little by little

"I hate you. I hate you so much Seo Changbin. I loved you so much and I thought you loved me too so why?! Why did you do this?!"

Felix shouted as tears streamed down his face, which Changbin could already predict. He tried his best not to cry and look back at Felix

"Same with you Hwang Hyunjin! I lost everything just to be with you and you just- you just betrayed me like that? Why?! Why would you do that?!"

Jeongin shouted as Changbin looked up to see Hyunjin at the entrance of the cafeteria with his mouth covered. Changbin could make it out that Jeongin was crying through his voice and Hyunjin was about to cry. Changbin quickly walked towards Hyunjin with a smile, a fake one

"Come on. Let's go."

Changbin's voice cracked as he looked at Hyunjin desperately, who understood that Changbin didn't want to be there any longer so he grabbed his share of orders before quickly walking away, followed by Changbin. It hurt them more than anything when their soulmates said such things about them but they had no choice either but to accept it. Even if they both had lost their appetite to eat, they forced themselves to eat in silence. Changbin and Hyunjin both headed back  to return their trays but what they heard after entering was something that scarred them for life

"We are going to reject you two as our soulmates. But we needed your decision on this even if we already know the answer."

Jeongin stated huskily as Hyunjin stopped in his tracks and dropped his tray, creating a loud cluttering sound which echoed through out the cafeteria as he looked at Jeongin with tears threatening to fall from his eyes. Changbin too dropped his tray as his eyes watered. They both were in pure shock at this sudden decision

"What? Regretting your mistakes already?"

Minho asked with a scoff as Changbin gathered all the courage in himself before swallowing the pain down and forcing the tears back in. He picked up the trays and grabbed Hyunjin's wrist before dragging him to the counter as he put the trays on the counter. He then proceeded to exit the cafeteria with Hyunjin, not planning on returning until he succeeded with what he had planned for so long
