Chan wanted to burn himself down. Why did the person he never wanted to see again come back to his life? He still remembered how much he was in pain back then because of that very same person

"Chan? Are you okay?"

Yunho asked worriedly, snapping Chan back to reality. He looked around to see that all the eyes were on him. Even the professor was looking at him with worried eyes

"Uhh-"

"I guess we can take a break. You can leave the class and have some time for yourself Chan."

The professor stated as Chan then realized that he was crying. He hurriedly wiped his tears away and nodded before standing up

"I-I am sorry."

Chan apologised while bowing to the professor before running out of the classroom. He couldn't help but cry as he ran down the hallways and crashed through a door leading to the fire pit. He closed the door shut and screamed his lungs out. He felt disorientated and as he tried to calm himself down. He felt like he lost himself once again

"Why Samuel? Why did you come back?!"

Chan shouted he he fell on his knees. He couldn't forget what Samuel had done few years ago. It scarred him as well as Samuel himself for life. Chan knows that Samuel was still young but why did he have to take such a big step?

"Chan?! Chan open the door!"

Soonyoung shouted as he tried to open the door which wouldn't budge. Jeonghan started panicking. Joshua tried to calm him down. Jeongin had reached there as soon as he heard the news from Seungmin. He gently removed Jeonghan's hairpin from his long hair before twisting it in a weird shape and slipping it through the door. 2 minutes later he was able to open the door

"Wha-"

"Don't ask. Just get in there and help him."

Jeongin stated as basically, he melted the bolt to unlock the door through Jeonghan's hair pin. Seungkwan and Vernon rushed in first as they had just reached. They were shocked and heartbroken to see Chan suffering like that. Chan was crying as he stared at the fire pit

"Channie? Sweetie what's wrong?"

Seungkwan asked as he and Vernon carefully took a step forward while Chan just cried

"I-I wasn't supposed to be y-your soulmate."

Chan stated as he cried even harder. Seungkwan and Vernon were confused as to why Chan would say such a thing

"What are you saying baby? The moon goddess-"

"I just don't know why she gave me you two okay?! I don't deserve you two! I was meant to be alone!"

Chan shouted as he stood up hastily and looked at Vernon and Seungkwan with pain, anger, frustration and sadness evident in his eyes

"And you wanna know why?! Because Samuel had broken his soulmate bond with me the same day we both found out that we were soulmates!"

Chan exclaimed the truth as Seungkwan and Vernon froze

"It was only supposed to be you two! I was never meant to join you guys!"

Chan shouted as he ran past them. Seungkwan looked at the running Chan in disbelief while Vernon was still processing what Chan said. The news reach their friends. Seokmin ran to Seungkwan and Vernon to comfort them about this while Soonyoung explained what he heard from outside to the rest. Yunho, Mingi, Yeosang, Wooyoung and Changbin immediately left to find Chan and took Yeonjun with them as well. Seungmin looked down the whole time and left as well, worrying Jongho, Jisung and Bang Chan but they had to comfort Seungkwan and Vernon at the moment before dealing with Seungmin

"Kwan. Hey look here please."

Seonghwa begged but Seungkwan wouldn't listen. He and Vernon were silently reflecting to Chan's words as Seungkwan sighed deeply and looked at them all

"He never healed from his pain about the past. And breaking a soulmate bond hurts like shit. It will haunt him down for life."

Seungkwan stated as he felt really bad for Chan rather than getting angry or hurt at what he said. Vernon nodded in agreement as he facepalmed a bit

"We should have asked him if he was really ready to be in a relationship."

Vernon stated as Seungkwan looked down. The others were a bit surprised about their reaction but they were happy and proud that Seungkwan and Vernon were trying to understand their soulmate. On the other hand, Seungmin walked behind Hanuel and grabbed his hand and dragged him to an empty classroom

"Listen here hyung. Drop the acting for a bit please. It's time people know about whose sons we truly are and how wicked and careless they are. Please hyung. I can't watch Sam suffer like this anymore."

Seungmin stated as his eyes watered. Hanuel's eyes immediately turned soft as he hugged Seungmin gently. It may be surprising for everyone but Seungmin doesn't care anymore. He wanted his hyung to be able to share his love to them in front of everyone and not secretly

"Look Seungmo, I would love to as well and we both know that Sam does too. But tell me what happened that led to this sudden thinking."

Hanuel asked softly as Seungmin burst out crying. He explained the situation to Hanuel, who felt extremely bad for his youngest brother

"Look Seungmo, father's people are watching us. We can't do anything."

Hanuel stated as they had to keep their family a secret. They may have looked like a perfect family from the outside but Hanuel broke a rule which his father had let it slip considering that his son was old and Seungmin definitely did something to piss him off but that was not the case in reality. Samuel was tired of hiding from the people who he loved so dearly so Seungmin and Hanuel had decided to put up this act for Samuel

"I c-can't do this anymore hyung... I am tired."

Seungmin whispered as Hanuel sighed deeply

"Trust me Seungmo, I don't want to hurt you or watch Sam suffer but if this keeps all of us safe then we have to deal with this."
