It was hell. Mingi knew that he was being toxic to someone who never deserved it but he couldn't help it. He never wanted to hurt Wooyoung but he still did it. All because of Yunho, the person he had fallen in love with and wanted as a soulmate which was completely crushed by some words and actions by the very same person many years ago. He could do nothing but just sigh and look at Wooyoung sleeping peacefully in Hongjoong's arms after the argument he had gotten in just few moments ago

-Flashback-

Bang Chan ran through the portal made by Jongho as Minghao followed not long after

"Where is he?"

Bang Chan asked as everyone stayed silent. He knew that he had messed up big time

"Find him on your own."

Minho stated with a tch as Jisung shook his head in dismay

"I can't believe that you hid about Yedam being alive all along hyung."

Changbin stated as Bang Chan looked down. He forced himself not to cry and just left them to look for Seungmin. Mingi who was watching everything silently stepped in the front and looked at them all

"I think that he has a reason to hide all of this."

Mingi started off but Wooyoung opposed it

"No he doesn't. He would have told us now but he didn't-"

"I didn't ask you to speak!"

Mingi exclaimed as Wooyoung backed away a bit but didn't stand down from his point

"And you are no one to tell me that."

Wooyoung stated as he had had enough of Mingi's bullshit and he wasn't taking any that day

"What did you say?! Repeat it again!"

Mingi roared as Wooyoung clenched the scabbard on his waist. He wasn't going to take shit from Mingi this time

"You are no one to tell me that, you monster."

Wooyoung stated as everyone there excluding Mingi gasped in shock. Mingi could feel his world crush down as Wooyoung took a step forward

"We are over Song Mingi. This is it."

Wooyoung stated as he turned away and ran off while Hongjoong rushed after him while the rest just looked at Mingi, who was frozen like a statue

"If anything happens to Woo, I will be the first one to take you down."

Yeosang stated with a cold glare at Mingi and rushing off to the direction where Wooyoung had went

"Same here."

Jongho stated while grabbing San's hand and following Yeosang. Jungkook and Taehyung couldn't help it either so they decided to split off and go over to Wooyoung and Seungmin. Jeongin followed as well and soon everyone had left Mingi alone except for one person

"You aren't a monster Mingki. You are my princess and you always will be it even if we are far apart from each other."

Yunho stated as he smiled at Mingi and walked away as well leaving him all alone. Mingi couldn't help but fall on his knees and let a lone tear escape from his left eye

-End of flashback-

Mingi didn't realize that tears had escape his eyes until he could feel them on the back of his hand. He quickly wiped it away and left Hongjoong and Wooyoung silently before making his way to the store room which was located at the furthest and the darkest corner of the academy which he was thankful about. He used his powers to hide away from everyone's eyes and made his way to the store room, his only comfort place. He never really had friends and he thinks of the rest of the group mates of Strikers as comrades and nothing more. He wished that he would make friends but who befriends a mere shadow? He burst out sobbing once he entered the store room like he always did. The pain he felt everytime he had to face Yunho would come bubbling back on his chest which hurt him a lot.

He had to make decisions right then and there if he wanted to be able to continue with his life and he immediately decided for the hardest decision. A decision which only Yunho was aware of but Mingi hoped that he has forgotten about it. It was already late at night so everyone was asleep except for him. He slowly stood up and wiped his tears away. He didn't need to take anything with him to accomplish the decision he made. He slowly walked out of the store room and headed back to the dormitory to take his leave. He knew that he shouldn't rush taking such a huge step but he would have had made the decision in the end anyways. He took silent yet painful steps through the dorms as he remembered the harsh words everyone had said to him so far. He heard a door open and quickly hid behind a wall

"Why hasn't he come back yet?"

Mingi heard as his heart started racing fast. As much as he hated Yunho, he equally loved him even if he was the reason why Mingi was what he was at the moment

"Mingki? Are you hiding in the shadows? Please come back to sleep."

Yunho requested as Mingi was in a dilemma. He wanted to do as Yunho asked him to but at the same time he wanted to walk away and leave Yunho worried

"Yunho? What are you doing awake at this hour?"

Seonghwa asked as Yunho sighed and faced at him

"Have you seen Mingki? He hasn't come to sleep."

Yunho asked worriedly as Seonghwa shook his head as a no which made Yunho sigh again

Don't fall for his tricks Mingi. He knows that you will end up backing away from the decision you have made. You can't back away this time. He has always been the reason who stopped you from doing so.

A voice whispered in Mingi's head as his eyes watered again. He cursed himself for letting his walls down

"Mingki if you don't come out in the count of 3 then I will come to you. You know that I will always find you."

Yunho stated as Mingi kept on cursing at himself. He knew that Yunho will find him and he didn't want Yunho to see him in his weakest point of life so therefore he just wiped his tears away and stepped out of the shadows

"1-"

"I am here. So stop that counting bullshit."

Mingi stated in a cold voice as Yunho smiled and sighed in relief but didn't fail to notice the bloodshot and puffy eyes

"Did you-"

"Fuck off."

Mingi stated and walked past Seonghwa and Yunho before entering the dorm as a lone tear escaped Yunho's right eye

I am sorry princess. I will make things right soon.

Yunho thought as he watched Mingi leave helplessly. He had his own reasons as to why he hurt Mingi like that but he couldn't voice it out. But now he had to stop this. And the only way was by following Chan's plan
