This was hell for Wooyoung, San, Mingi, Yunho, Yeosang, Jongho, Seonghwa and Hongjoong. Never in their life have they felt this awkward because of the incidents which took place earlier in their lives. Everything felt so awkward. Seonghwa and Yeosang were practically glued together. Hongjoong tried to find out why Jongho's eyes were red and puffy. Yunho and San tried their best not to get close to Mingi and Wooyoung since they had to prepare for the plan the fire user had told them
"Okay I want to break off the awkward silence. We need to meet the janitor in the security room right? Why do you think that out of all the people the headmaster could have told us, we have to meet him?"
Mingi asked while looking at them all as all of them stopped in their tracks and looked at him, who didn't dare to look away since he needed to push away the awkward silence for all of them to work together at ease
"We will find out only when we reach there hyung. Now let's hurry up."
Jongho stated as he pulled Hongjoong to lead the way which Hongjoong did while the rest trailed behind him
"What's up with all of them?"
Wooyoung whispered to Mingi as the two were behind all of them
"Hongjoong hyung and Seonghwa hyung can't be together because of you already know what it is. I think something happened between Jongho and Yeosang when we were heading to the dorms and I don't really know what is in San's and Yunho's head."
Mingi whispered back as Wooyoung nodded, satisfied with the answer even if he was more curious about Yunho and San since Mingi practically hates the two
"Alright here we are. Remember what our task is. To monitor the areas of the academy strictly."
Hongjoong reminded as all of them nodded before Hongjoong took a deep breath and turned open the door knob, opening the door and seeing a huge spider which made him and Wooyoung scream
"Yahhhhhh!"
Hongjoong screamed as he jumped onto someone and hugged him tightly while Wooyoung did the same and jumped onto someone
"You are suffocating me!"
Mingi stated while trying to get Hongjoong off him as Yeosang himself was having a hard time
"Get off me you idiot!"
Yeosang exclaimed as Seonghwa and San couldn't control their laughters and burst out laughing while Jongho managed to control himself and killed the spider. Yunho knew about Hongjoong and Wooyoung getting scared of spiders so he had recorded everything ever since Hongjoong opened the door knob and silently enjoyed the chaos
"The spider is dead. Now let's go."
Jongho stated as he started laughing while Hongjoong and Wooyoung got off and glared at him
"It's not funny!"
The two of them exclaimed at the same time as San and Seonghwa were dying of laughter while they entered the room
"Is this even the security room? We might have entered the wrong room."
Mingi stated while looking around as the place did look a bit creepy
"Well it is the security room."
A voice stated as it echoed throughout the room. It scared all 8 of them for a second. Wooyoung tried going towards the echo but Yunho pulled him back
"Don't."
Yunho whispered as they waited of 2 minutes and continued walking further inside to see an old man sitting on the chair and looked like as if he was waiting for them to come all along
"Hi there fellas. I am Kim Youngin, the janitor. I do look old but I am not really old. Someone stole my youthfulness and here I am now. Anyways please take a seat and ask me the questions you want. I will answer them the best I can."
The old man stated as Hongjoong, Yunho and Yeosang stood in front of him, Mingi, Jongho and Seonghwa behind him while Wooyoung and San on an old couch
"So Mr. Kim, I am sure that you know why the headmaster sent the 8 of us specifically here right? Can you tell us why?"
Hongjoong asked as the old man chuckled
"That is something you will find out in the future. For now I will let you know what is going to happen next."
The old man stated as the 8 of them looked at each other in confusion but continued listening to him
"A human being will enter the academy using a disguise. That human has a motive here. All you 8 have to do is monitor where that human is hiding until tomorrow morning."
The old man stated as the 8 looked at each other again. Why did the task have to have 8 people when it could be done by 2 people instead?
"Why-"
Before Wooyoung could ask, San suddenly stood up from beside him, scaring the shit out of everyone excluding the old man as San walked towards the only monitor and looked at the screen followed by the others

"Someone is entering from the abandoned gate. We need to get there quickly. Jongho, use your spells and teleport us there then make us invisible. We need to hurry and get to him before he hides."
Hongjoong stated as Jongho nodded and used his spells to teleport them and make them invisible. They watched the human remove his disguise and hide in one of the bushes until dusk. The human then slowly walked inside the academy, alarming the 8 of them
"We should follow him to see what his motive is."
Seonghwa stated as they nodded and followed him. The human hid in the janitor's closet until it was time for breakfast. The human got out and followed the students to the cafeteria where the others were waiting. Jongho made themselves visible and followed him but the next words he said left them utterly speechless
"Kwan my love! I am sorry!"
