The four of them stared at each other without saying a word. The tension got too high that Seungkwan and Hanuel had to excuse themselves to get some fresh air for a while. Seungmin was worried about his younger brother and best friend while Jisung was worried about Chan. Jungwon had also reached there by then. Yeosang was the only one who remained calm and collected for the four of their sakes

"Uhhh so... How should we go about this? The past may be the past but all the moments we shared each other isn't something which can be forgotten easily unless we all agree to move on or stay stuck in this unbearable amount of pain."

Hanjin started off as Chan cleared his throat and looked away. He hated Samuel for a reason which being that he broke the soulmate bond without even acknowledging Chan's decision

"I agree. What do you say, fire boy?"

Jongho asked Chan, who stared at Samuel with hatred filled in his eyes. Vernon knew that this wasn't going to end well at this rate so he looked at Seungmin for help. Seungmin understood and decided to call Chan's brothers and groupmates to help them through this. There was a long silence before Samuel spoke up

"Look hyung, I am really sorry. But I am going to reveal my reason for doing that in the past and hopefully you will at least understand where I am coming from."

Samuel stated as Seungmin tensed up knowing the reason too well. Seungkwan and Hanuel had just returned back with Hyunjin, Hoseok, Soonyoung, Yunho, Jihoon and Seokmin behind them. It became even more awkward. Chan could snap anytime soon so Seungmin decided to call Chan's dormmates there. And just like that everyone ended up there. The girls stayed as far as possible but also close enough to neutralize any kind of fight from occurring

"5 minutes."

Chan mumbled lowly as Samuel sighed in relief before he took a deep breath

"Okay do not react but our parents have joined hands with the humans to bring our own beings down. We were under their control and when I met you hyung, I really did fall in love with you but love was my weakness. I never really showed how much I loved my brothers because it always got them in trouble. I seemed to have forgotten about that and had started falling for you. You were the sun in my gloomy sky hyung. But my parents discovered. I had two choices, let go off my brothers or you and my future teammates. Letting go off my brothers meant that I would have to let them die which I didn't want but letting go off you and my future teammates meant that I wouldn't have to lose lives. That's why I chose the safer option. I always regretted leaving you and them behind, cursing myself for not fighting them back. Trust me hyung, I didn't have a choice. It was a life or death game."

Samuel stated as his eyes watered. Seumgmin had covered his ears as he didn't want to remember his terrible past again. Hanuel just looked down as he always blamed himself for not being strong enough and freeing his brothers and himself from such a miserable life. Chan processed each and every word carefully. It took some time before he stood up and walked towards Samuel and pulled him in a hug. Samuel burst out crying as Chan rubbed his back to comfort him

"Thank you for letting me know the reason, Sam. I was stupid and childish for not understanding you."

Chan whispered as his own eyes filled with tears. He was finally willing to let go off Samuel

"N-No hyung. I was an idiot for not even telling you in the first place."

Samuel stated while crying as Chan took a deep breath and calmed himself down. He wiped away his own tears before letting go off Samuel and wiping away his tears

"Treat your soulmate well okay?"

Chan stated with a smile as it hurt him but that was the way to let Samuel go. Samuel nodded happily with a smile and turned to face Hanjin

"I think you two should go and learn more about yourselves."

Jongho suggested with a fake smile as he grabbed Hanjin's hand, giving it to Samuel to hold, who shyly took it. The two looked at each other with a shy smile before leaving the rooftop. A tear slipped from Jongho's eye while Chan could do nothing but watch his first love and soulmate walk away from him

"Love? Do you want some cuddles?"

Yeosang asked softly as he held Jongho's hand gently with a smile. Jongho wiped the lone tear and nodded as Yeosang's hugs always made him feel better

"I think we should go to the local bar. What do you say Channie?"

Seungkwan asked with a smile as Chan nodded. It helped him forget about his past and the painful memories anyways. Soon everyone dispersed, leaving only Minho and Gyuri there

"So you are the cat hybrid swordsman?"

Gyuri started off as Minho nodded. He felt a bit weird because so far he had only seen the cheerful and sunshine side of Gyuri and her talking seriously right now intimidated him a bit

"And Han's soulmate and boyfriend?"

Gyuri asked again as Minho nodded again. He was confused as to why Gyuri was asking all these questions

"I see. There is something you need to know about his past. The past which he seemed to have forgotten or more like someone made him forget it."

Gyuri stated as Minho looked at her with a frown. Only Changbin and Bang Chan knew about the full details of his past so how did Gyuri know about Jisung's past as well?

"What is it?"

Minho asked as he turned his body towards Gyuri to show that he was listening carefully

"Han is my twin brother. Or more like was my twin brother."
