"I never left the realm on my own because I wanted to fulfill my responsibilities as a swordsman. I mean I wanted to do it but I wanted to take over the throne too so that Hongjoong won't suffer. But I found out something I shouldn't have. That's why I was kicked out and banished from the underworld realm. I was forced to leave you behind, Hongjoong. I couldn't give up because I still had to fulfill my responsibilities as a swordsman. Then Wonu hyung came into my life and became another reason to not give up. Slowly I had people around me who loved me and cared for me. That's why I am here today. B-But... I don't want to continue living anymore..."

Mingyu's voice broke at the end of the explanation as fresh tears streamed down his cheeks. Hongjoong's eyes widened in shock after discovering the real truth. Jungkook felt relieved that the truth was out now but felt bad for Mingyu

"W-What really was the reason that they kicked you out and banished you, hyung?"

Hongjoong asked as his eyes watered. Mingyu wiped his tears away and looked at Hongjoong tiredly

"D-Do I really need to say t-that too?"

Mingyu asked as Hongjoong nodded. Mingyu couldn't help but cry again as it was difficult for him to say the truth

"A-Alright then..."

Mingyu mumbled as he wiped his tears away. He took a deep breath and gathered all his courage to say the reasons

"There are three reasons why I was kicked out. Reason number one being that I found out about what they did to Jeonghan hyung and Joshua hyung which being turning them into half devils."

Mingyu stated as he avoided Jeonghan and Joshua's shocked faces and stares of disbelief towards him

"Reason number two being that I tried to kill them for reason number one. But you guys will probably hate me more than you will hate Hongjoong for reason number three because I knew about it before yet I never told anyone. And Hongjoong because he is their son and my brother. Just don't hate on him and hate on me for hiding this please. I am begging you. He didn't even know about it. So please."

Mingyu stated as he burst out crying. He bowed his body 90° while kneeling which shocked everyone a lot as they realized that Mingyu really was being serious about it

"I-It depends on what the third reason is."

San stated as Mingyu cried even more. His shoulders started shaking as he was having a hard time breathing

"P-Please... J-Just don't hate m-my brother... He d-doesn't deserve i-it..."

Mingyu cried as they didn't have a choice but to listen to Mingyu, who stood up slowly as he turned around

"B-Before that... K-Kook and W-Wonu hyung... I-I am really sorry..."

Mingyu stated as he continued apologizing again and again. Jungkook and Wonwoo were obviously confused about what Mingyu was going to say but they prepared for the worst. What they weren't prepared for was the real reason why Mingyu was crying and apologizing so much

"M-My parents killed y-your... Y-Your a-aunt K-Kook... And y-your m-mom W-Wonu hyung-"

Mingyu stated as he fell on his knees and banged on the floor, cursing at the moon goddess for drawing such a curse upon him. Jungkook took a step back, unable to comprehend what Mingyu just said while Wonwoo on the other hand almost collapsed but was caught by Soonyoung. He turned pale after hearing what Mingyu said. Hongjoong's eyes widened in shock as his shoulders dropped. He never realized that his older brother was trying to do everything to protect him without him even realizing it

"W-What?..."

Jeonghan was the first person to respond as he collapsed on his knees. He still couldn't believe what Mingyu had just said but sadly that was the truth. A painful truth which Mingyu had hidden with a beautiful lie just to save his friendships and relationships but now he felt like he failed. Joshua held onto Jeonghan's shoulders as he sobbed

"W-Why?..."

Jimin whispered as he slowly walked towards Mingyu. Yoongi tried to stop his youngest soulmate from doing anything stupid

"Why did you two have to be their sons?!"

Jimin screamed as he fell on his knees. Yoongi didn't know what to do at that point. He didn't know if he should hold his soulmate back or comfort his fellow group mate and teammate or try and understand his fellow swordsman. He thought quickly and decided that handling Jimin first would be better so he looked at Hoseok for help, who immediately understood what he was going to do. Hoseok immediately rushed to Jimin and tried to calm him down. Yoongi then turned to Wonwoo, who was still staring at Mingyu, his beloved soulmate, in shock. Yoongi went and hugged both Jungkook and Wonwoo to show them that him and the rest were still there to support them through this. After a long hug Yoongi decided that he should check on Jeonghan and Joshua, who were helplessly crying in Seungcheol's embrace. Yoongi then sighed and looked at Mingyu, who was no longer crying. He just stared at the floor with nothing but pain, regret and guilt eating him up

"I-I don't know who all will agree b-but I feel that it's n-not Mingyu h-hyung's fault and that h-he should be forgiven."

Wooyoung stated in a small voice while looking down as many pairs of eyes stared at him

"I agree. He shouldn't be blamed for something he never did. He just tried to keep together his friendships and relationships with the others around. He isn't to he blamed."

Bang Chan supported as some nodded in agreement. Some were still in pure shock hearing Mingyu but they realized that it was never his fault for the events occurred except for his second reasoning

"G-Gyu I-"

Before Jungkook could even speak, Mingyu stood up and wiped his tear stains away

"Don't forgive me just because it's not my fault. Remember that you guys had every right to know about it but I didn't even tell you because of my selfishness."

Mingyu stated before leaving as everyone stayed silent. What Mingyu did had its pros as well as cons. But wasn't it better if they look at why he tried to do it rather than blaming him for something he never really did?
