-Hello my friends! I told myself to stop writing, and do something else for a while. That didn't work, so here we are now! Enjoy!-

Scott PoV

Scott had decided that Jimmy was an idiot. An idiot who would be dead if it weren't for the stupid binding spell. He thought of the person who had performed the spell, the promises of revenge, of retribution. He felt a white hot anger building up inside of him once more, and it took quite a while for him to calm down.

As of right now, there is not much I can do.

Scott glared grumpily at the metal around him. He assumed that he was inside the medallion somehow. The golden walls pressing in on him were not helping his claustrophobia.

A gilded cage.

He shuddered, hoping Jimmy released him soon. He would have to find a way to get rid of Jimmy of course, but for now, he would settle for even a limited freedom.

When I'm free, the council will pay. First, I will destroy this world, that should get their attention. Then, I can devastate their realm as well.

He sighed, wrapping his wings tight around himself, counting the seconds until his next moment of freedom.

Scott jolted awake, he felt a slight tugging sensation in his chest.

Is he releasing me?

He closed his eyes as a searing pain began to build in his head.

"Oh. My. Cod. I-I wasn't hallucinating. You're real, or you're not real and you're some sort of spirit who has come to torment me!"

Scott blinked dark spots from his eyes, Jimmy's terrified face coming into focus.

"I'm not a spirit either, and, stop assuming I'm here for you."

Jimmy seemed to be blinking back tears.

"S-so you're not here to kill me?"

Aeor this kid is pathetic.

"No, I'm not here to kill you specifically, you just happen to be in my way. Besides I-"

Scott finally took a moment to take in his surroundings. They appeared to be in someone's bedroom, probably Jimmy's. It was nice enough, there were posters for several bands Scott had never heard of, stacks of comic books in the corners, a few pictures on the nightstand, and... was that a cod plushie? Scott didn't know much about human culture, but even he thought having a stuffed animal of a fish was a bit weird. Jimmy was perched on the footboard of the bed, knees clutched to his chest. Scott sighed, he wasn't going to get anywhere if Jimmy kept being this... sad.

"How about we each ask each other three questions, and the other person has to answer each question honestly, to the best of their ability."

Jimmy glanced up.

"O-okay."

Scott plopped down on the bed beside Jimmy, folding his wings in tight to take up as little space as possible.

"I'll go first, where did you find the necklace?"

Jimmy blushed a bright red and muttered something under his breath that Scott didn't quite catch.

"I'm sorry?"

Jimmy turned an even deeper shade of crimson (if that was even possible), and repeated his answer again, this time at a decent volume.

"I stole it, okay?"

Scott just stared at him.

"Actually, I'm kind of impressed now. I didn't take you for the thieving type."

"W-well it's not as if I wanted to be a thief, it kind of just happened. Anyways, it's my turn to ask a question."

Scott held his tongue, deciding to interrogate Jimmy about it later.

"Fine, ask away."

"I, um, what are you?"

"Well that's incredibly rude!"

Jimmy's face was practically radiating heat at this point.

"N-no, I mean, you said you weren't a demon or a spirit, so I was just curious as to what you are."

Scott thought for a moment.

"I'm a- well, I suppose god isn't exactly the right word for it. I guess I'm a deity, if that's what you want to call it."

Jimmy audibly gulped.

"O-oh, g-good to know."

Scott grinned at his obvious discomfort.

"Alright, my second question is, where are we?"

"In my room."

Scott rolled his eyes.

"I meant what city."

"Oh, we're in empires, this is the ocean district."

Scott filed away this information for later use, gesturing for Jimmy to ask his second question.

"How did you get trapped in the necklace?"

"Oh I pissed off the wrong people, got myself exiled from my realm, the usual stuff."

He waved his hand in a dismissive gesture. Jimmy had a curious expression on his face.

"Were you exiled because you kept trying to kill people?"

"Is that your third question?"

"Yes."

Scott shrugged.

"More or less. They said I was too corrupted, they didn't even let me plead my case. It doesn't matter, it's not as if I had anything to say to them in the first place."

Scott knew he didn't sound the most sane right now, but he didn't really care what Jimmy thought of him.

"Now time for my final question. Has anyone strange showed up recently?"

"Like at school or..."

"Anywhere."

Jimmy looked deep in thought.

"Well... we did get two new students at my high school, they're pretty weird."

"What are their names?"

"Gem and Fwhip, they say that they're twins."

Scott's mind was buzzing with ideas.

"Interesting..."

"Please don't kill them."

"I wasn't planning to, but now that you mention it..."

He noticed Jimmy's horrified expression and snorted.

"I'm kidding, if they are who I think, then I'm not sure I could kill them in my current state."

Scott could almost see the gears in Jimmy's head turning.

"If... If I help to release you, will you leave this realm alone?"

Scott eyed Jimmy, looking for any signs that he might be lying about helping. At last, he gave a defeated sigh.

"I guess. Better than being stuck with you for the rest of your life."

Jimmy held out his hand to shake.

"Deal?"

Oh you poor naïve mortal.

He suppressed a wicked smile. He grabbed Jimmy's hand and gave it a firm shake.

"Deal."

-Jimmy doesn't know what he's getting himself into, he should know not to make deals with people he just met, much less ancient deities who have already threatened to kill him multiple times. Don't worry though, it will get better for him. I wonder what Fwhip and Gem are up to... hmmm... I hope everyone had a great day/night, lots of love to you all! I bid you, adieu!-
