Luckily, I didn't have to worry about Malfoy when we walked back to the Slytherin Common Room as he somehow had managed to convince Pomfrey that his arm was in dire need of rest (which it clearly wasn't.) But, throughout our journey, he complained over the smallest of things such as his arm getting into contact with one of the stair rail or a speck of dust getting on his arm—I kept quiet since I knew that if I did open my mouth, whatever would leave it would not be pretty and would offend Malfoy somehow.

Once I dropped him off there, I immediately tried to rush out of the common room to rejoin my classes but was stopped by Malfoy:
'Where do you think you're going?'
'Class? Obviously? I can't be late to herbology.'
'And you're going to leave me alone?!' he said, with his eyes widened and a trembling figure.
'I'll call Parkinson over so she'll tend to you,' I snapped but as these words left my mouth, Malfoy immediately straightened up and stopped his dramatic acting of him being in pain.
'There's no need, I'll... I'll just be in my room.'

With this, I gave Malfoy a smirk and left him all alone in the Slytherin Common Room as I went to my next class.

Days had passed since Malfoy's injury and he made sure to not come to any class until it was at least 3 days later to make sure that everyone in school was concerned over him.
No one was gullible to believe that a hippogriff could've killed him except for, maybe his fanclub that consisted of Parkinson, Goyle and Crabbe.

During this period, Quinn made sure to take whatever chance he got to hit Malfoy's injured arm which would always result in the blonde screaming and shouting profanities at him while the rest of us would only laugh. However, it was quite rude of Quinn to do that regardless of how deep his injury was and sometimes, I did make sure to scold Quinn for his behaviour towards the blonde. I'm not a huge fan of him but Quinn's actions sometimes really got out of hand--sometimes, Malfoy deserves a good slap but not all the time.

Due to the fact that I was usually the one to defend Malfoy from Quinn's shenanigans, he ended up sticking next to for the past 3 days, quite literally. During breakfast, he'd sit next to me; in our common room, he was next to me--believing that I'd be the one to save him from Quinn's wrath. It got really tiring really fast.

He ended up joining classes again by the end of the week that meant, he'd be sticking with me like glue on paper for the entire day.

Malfoy appeared again while we were having double potions with the Gryffindors--Snape had made sure to make me sit alone since he knew that Quinn and I together were like Magnesium exposed to Oxygen—an explosion, you may say.

Once he entered Snape's class, Malfoy was already taken by his fanclub; Parkinson, Crabbe and Goyle all rushed towards and started giving him sincere compliments and asking him about his current state, saying that he's the bravest--they all did nothing but inflate his ego which honestly made me laugh.

When Snape entered the class, it all turned dead silent--so silent that we could hear flappings of bird wings from outside our window. Snape's aura was something different--it was menacing and horrified us all to no end. He was like a dementor personified.
Snape moved towards the center of the class and explained to us that we'd be making a new potion today--Shrinking Solution.

Malfoy made sure to set up his cauldron with Potter and Weasley to his right and me to his left--this is going to be very torturous as Quinn and Blaise were a few rows behind us and with Potter so near? Yeah. This class wasn't going to end well.
