I'm not the one to hold grudges. No, not at all unless it's Potter and his ginger friend but the events of yesterday made me incredibly annoyed--I didn't feel like wanting to communicate with either Quinn nor Malfoy, not even Blaise.

Quinn didn't come to dinner last night and that worried me but I assumed it was due to quidditch but the rumours I heard from my roommates told a different story:
'Did you hear? Todd was with Granger.'
'That mudblood! I can't believe it! I was Quinton's soulmate!'
'A half-breed and his muggle girlfriend—I saw it coming from a mile away!'
Honestly, I thought the rumours were rubbish. What's worse is that these rumours ignited the hidden prejudice in my dorm mates. I couldn't care less about who's snogging who in this school—but if Quinn spent his night with Granger then I'm more than happy for him even if I'm mad at him. Yes, I can't forgive him for leaving me alone with that twat, Malfoy for Granger but if he's happy then I'm happy—I'll still give him the silent treatment for a while, though.

As for Malfoy, I don't even want to start on how much he enrages me. I only ever talked with him due to our families' relationship; if I had met him during our first year and not when we were 4, then, I would've obviously not liked him but our history runs deep and in a way, I've come to enjoy his presence somewhat.

Yet, our history doesn't give him the excuse to be such a git and it isn't even his "insults" that bothered me—no, not at all. It's rather the fact that he did it to impress in Crabbe, Goyle and Parkinson that enraged me. I mean honestly, of all people, why them?
I'm obviously going to avoid that git till the end of the year or maybe until our graduation.

Currently, I was making my way towards my Charm classes with the hufflepuff students and with Flitwick as our teacher.

When I entered the class, I saw Quinn sitting alone, obviously he was waiting for me as I noticed how his eyes perked up when they landed on my figure. He even raised his hand and tried to wave to get my attention though I just scoffed and made my way towards the opposite end of the classroom.

There, I mentally debated with myself to either sit with a few Hufflepuffs that I barely knew or next to a blonde Slytherin girl from my dorm whom I recognized to be Daphne Greengrass from the Greengrass family, who were also very close with the Levesques'.

Ultimately, I decided to sit next to Daphne. I stode towards her desk and pointed a finger to the empty chair next to her which was filled with her belongings.

'hi, do you mind if I sit here?' I asked.
She looked rather baffled when I asked her this but she mumbled 'of course,' and removed her bag from the other chair, i strolled toward it and situated myself next to her.

'I'm sorry for asking this but don't you usually sit next to Quinton Todd?' she asked, pointing towards the brunette, whose eyes were concentrated on me with an eyebrow raised.

'Mhm, yes but I don't feel like sitting next to him.' I replied, not bothering to look at Quinn again.

'Couples' fight?' she guessed.

My hand shot up to my mouth, surprised by her inquiry, 'no! Of course not! We're friends, Greengrass.'

'Please, call me Daphne.'

'We're just friends, Daphne.'

'Oh...' she paused momentarily to think, 'so you're with Draco, then?'

This time, my eyes widened even more, 'no! Godric's no. Not even in my worse dreams...'

'I'm sorry for that,' she chuckled at my reaction, 'you know, my sister, Astoria who's in her first year fancies Draco; she'll be ecstatic to hear that's still on the market!'
