My morning routine usually goes like this: wake up, tip-toe out of my room as to not endure my dorm mates' wrath, meet up with Quinn in the great hall, harass Malfoy and then, go to my classes.
Though, today's routine is a bit different as I did not tip-toe out of my room and spent around 20 minutes in the room, trying to create different hair styles on Daphne and I's heads.

'What do you think?' Daph asked as she twirled around and showed me her blonde hair which was now embedded with red beads all over her braid.

'Gorgeous!' I respond, admiring her beautiful hair.

'Are you guys done with your fashion show? Daphne, we're going to be late,' came the voice of our dorm mate, Millicent Bulstrode. She studied us both angrily with her arms crossed.

'Right, sorry, c'mon Millicent,' said Daph as she gave me an apologetic look and left with that thing.

I rolled my eyes and began to make my descent to the great hall as well, trying my best to avoid Malfoy and his little gang of Slytherin fans.

Once I entered the great hall, immediately I was greeted by Quinn who gave me a bone-crushing hug, 'Esque! Morning! You're later than usual, had me and blondie worried for your live.'

'Esque?' I ask, questioning his unusual choice of a nickname.

'Your last name's hard to pronounce anyways, Malfoy's been complaining all morning about you ignoring him or something,' he said.

I rolled my eyes at the mention of the Malfoy heir, 'Didn't you hear? He made such a fuss after arithimancy and made fun of me for running out during Lupin's class,' I said, 'he's such a git and I'm giving him the silent treatment so he apologises properly.'

'I heard that Malfoy called Greengrass some names but I didn't think you were involved in it too,' Quinn replied, 'he deserves that treatment, though.'

Quinn and I then walked towards where Blaise and Malfoy were, I gave a kind greeting to Blaise who eagerly returned it but didn't bother paying any greeting to Malfoy, who looked rather baffled by the lack of attention he was recieving.

Malfoy shifted uncomfortably in his seat and, after finishing his breakfast, he simply left without uttering a single profanity to a single teenager near him. As he left, he was quickly surronded by everyone from his class: Bulstrode, Parkinson, Crabbe and Goyle.

Shortly after they departed, so did Quinn, Blaise and I; we were accompanied by Daphne a while later.

;; DRACO'S POV

Her behaviour was unusual, I've noticed about that much. It's been about two days since our meeting in the library and ever since then, she's been acting like this. The Levesque I know would take any opportunity she got to throw some witty remarks at me but so far, any attempt I've done to rile her up have been futile.

I've known for 9 years now, and not once has she ever acted like this.

What angered me the most was that she was acting perfectly fine with both Todd and Blaise, she'd also found a new friend with Greengrass. Hell, I even saw her acting all nice with Granger! Granger of all people!

I'm not the one to ever panic like this over people. I don't even need the company of others as long as I have those gits, Crabbe and Goyle to do my bidding for me. But when ti comes to her--I'm left baffled by my actions. I never overthink but now? I was thinking too much for my own wellbeing.

After arthimancy, yesterday, I tried to engage her into a quarrel as arguing with her is seemingly my favourite way of passing time but, she still didn't budge. She didn't even look at me and that made me feel worse.
