"Know your self-worth. You might feel unwanted & unworthy to one person, but you are priceless to another.  Spend time with those who value you. No matter how good you are to others, there’ll always be that one negative person who criticizes you.  Smile, carry on & do your thing!" Mufti Menk

Zeeshan stood at the intersection where the jeep was last seen and couldn't decide which direction to go. He tried looking at the tire marks on the road but to no avail. And as if to take him out of this reverie, his phone rang with his father's voice on the other end.

"Zeeshan, I am not sure but I think I know where Nargis is" Adil spoke from the other end, his car racing through the streets.

"I saw a diversion in the road and that diversion leads to the politician's house"

"What?"

"Hmm.. I have a feeling Nargis is there" Adil then directed him with the route towards his mansion and told him that he is on his way.

Now that Zeeshan had a direction, he wasted no time and rode his bike at the maximum speed to reach his destination.

Adil looked at his watch and groaned. Zeeshan would definitely reach before him or the other officers but he couldn't help it. It seemed as if Zeeshan would have to take care of the breaking the rules part, considering he couldn't even reach on time and even if he did reach there, he would never be able to enter the house without a warrant.

She groaned and hissed when she even so moved a little. Her head felt as if being hammered. Very slowly she opened her eyes and blinked rapidly to adjust to the light. She looked around and tried to move, but her hands and legs were restrained with the chair she was sitting on.

She shut her eyes close to ease herself of the worst headache she was having and all her memories of how she ended up here in this empty room with just a chair came crashing down on her.

She was left with the last news channel to deliver the evidence, but before she could reach there, the auto on which she sat on suddenly halted with a screech. She looked ahead alarmed and her breath was knocked out of her when she saw a jeep standing in front, and a bunch of men came out of it, charging towards her.

She tried to get off of the vehicle and run away but was pulled back by the harshest of the grip on her hair bun clad with hijab, and it almost came undone. Almost.

She shrieked with all her might, and the people around her looked upon, no one coming forward to help. She was immediately reminded of Zeeshan and as soon as the thought came to her mind, she immediately brushed it off.

You are alone in this Nargis. Alone. Always was. It was useless getting the thought even near her that someone might help. Everybody is not like Zeeshan. He..is something else.

She started thrashing and trying to loosen her hands from their vice like grips, but the very next second, she was hit at the back of her head so hard that she immediately fell unconscious.

Heaving a deep sigh, she looked around trying to rid herself of the tight shackles, but it was of no use. She could feel the ropes digging into her skin, but she kept trying blinking away the tears that threatened to spill.

And then, the next second, the door creaked open and in front of her, stood the politician.

She had obviously expected it and though her heart was hammering, she did nothing to show it on her face. He closed the door behind him and looked into her eyes to see the fear he had very much anticipated, but no matter how much he searched, there was none.
