Chapter 38

Namjoon

My trip to the dorm was quick and so was the one to the company. I went straight to the gym for my workout session. It was empty today with just the gym instructor there. I greeted and had small talk with him before I started the session. After an hour and half, I was done. I went to the bathroom to freshen up before heading to the studio. We have contents to shoot, dance practice and then studio session in that order. I walked straight to the company dressing room to meet the guys. They were already there, some getting their hair and makeup done.

"Good morning." I greeted everyone especially the staff.

"You're from the gym?" Jungkook asked.
"Yeah, you guys didn't go yet? It was empty when I got there." I asked "I need coffee for boost." I walked to the lockers to put my stuff in there for later after the shoot.

"I went super early." Jungkook replied not looking up from his phone.

I have not seen Yoongi and Jimin yet. I asked the staff and they said that they aren't here yet. Jimin went to the dentist and Yoongi is just running a bit late.

"Jin, did you guys eat? Should we eat before or after the shoot?" Jin signals me with his hands because he was getting his makeup done. I turn to Jhope but he was still on a phone call, which he has been on since I entered the place.

"We are shooting for a magazine cover, let's just eat after, I think." V replied from his seat. He was getting his hair done.

"Namjoon do you want to get started after having your coffee?" One of the stylists asked.

"Yeah, please. I'll make it quick." I told her and she nodded, sitting to wait for me.

I had my coffee and was done five minutes later. I took off my jumper and sat with just my sweatpants on to avoid smearing my makeup after it's done.

By the time my hair and makeup was done, Yoongi and Jimin came. They also got straight to it and we're all now dressed up and at the photo studio.
We did different group shots and changed outfits for the shot that'll cover the interview part of the magazine. After four hours, we were done and headed back to the company.
We got into two different cars, Jimin, V, Jhope and Jungkook in one car. Then me, Yoongi and Jin in another.

"You didn't come back last night." Yoongi said to me.

"No, I was tired and so sleepy to drive back." I told him and he hummed.

"It's not a one time thing, I see?" Jin said, referring to me and Brianna's dynamic.

I looked at him long, trying to form an answer in my head. It's definitely not a one time thing. It doesn't feel like it, it feels normal. She spent the night at my house, it felt so normal, I felt good. I spent the night at hers, and I slept fine. No, it's definitely not a one time thing, I do not know what it is right now, because she has left my question hanging. Even though I decided we are "dating", I'd like for her to be sure and tell me herself. All I know is that I can't seem to stay away from her and I'm not planning to.

"You're taking long to answer, that answers my question cos you don't think hard when it comes to the women you've had a thing with and their position in your life." Jin said after his long wait.

Yoongi just stayed quiet, maybe because I've had this conversation with him already and he knows that I like Brianna enough to always want to be in her face.

"I like her." I spoke up.

"I know." Jin said, surprising me. "Be careful though. For your sake and especially her sake." He continued.

I nodded, knowing exactly what he meant. The hardest part of our career as artists is the harassment our loved ones face, especially some of our male friends, female friends and any potential love interests. There are a few ruthless people who hide under the guise of being our fans who go to extreme measures to harass and reveal identity and personal information of any person affiliated with us. It gets us sad, scared and frustrated.
