*Lauren's POV*

We were about to go out to get Steven and Emmie some clothes and essentials a few hours later so they would have everything they need until they find a new house. Steven ended up finding one outfit in the back of the guest room closet for Emmie so she could come with us.

"Shit....I'm gonna kill Norman," Steven grumbled while looking at his phone screen.

"Why?" I asked and went over to him.

He turned his phone around. "Look what Norman put on almost every social media account he has." It was the picture of us kissing. "Now there's gonna be photographers and people following us everywhere."

I tilted his head so he was looking at me before running my fingers through the hair hanging across his forehead. "Don't worry about it, it'll be fine Steve. They would have figured it out at some point or another." He gave me a small smile before kissing my cheek.

"I'm ready!" Emmie said while jumping down the stairs.

"Okay, let's go," I replied and we walked outside to get in the car.

The car ride was quiet and peaceful, and of course as soon as we got out of the car, we were swarmed by photographers, as if they knew that we would be there.

We put on sunglasses and Emmie walked between Steven and I, holding out hands. People started yelling out annoying questions quickly.

"Are you two dating?!"

"Steven, Lauren, is what Norman Reedus said true?!

"Steven, do you love Lauren?!"

"Lauren, do you love Steven?!"

"Just ignore them," Steven said to us. "Keep walking and they'll go away eventually."

Steven was right. After all the people following us tried to all fit in the clothing store, the manager came and kicked them all out for us.

"Emmie, go pick out what you want and meet us up front," Steven said and Emmie ran off into the children's section. He then took my hand in his and led us over to the men's clothing.

"What do you want?" I asked. "Whatever you want it's on me."

Steven turned on his heels. "Nope, I'm buying. You don't need to do that."

"Steven, you just lost your house....I'm buying," I demanded nicely. He gave me his look of defeat before kissing my lips lightly. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the cashier lady smiling at us as she folded some clothes, making my smile against Steven's lips. "Now go pick some clothes."

A few minutes later, Emmie came skipping over to us with a pile of clothes in her arms. "I'm done!" She said happily while looking at her stack.

"Did you try them on first? I don't want Lauren buying you something that doesn't even fit," Steven asked while we walked up front.

"Yes," Emmie replied sounding a bit annoyed and put her clothes on the counter for the lady. I chuckled a bit and handed her my credit card before she put everything in a bag.

"Thank you very much," I said and Steven grabbed the bags.

"Now let's go home," Steve said while holding mine and Emmie's hands.
