A/N: Long chapter but stick with me till the end of it.....*nervous face*

"We are gonna have a lot of explaining to do," I said as we pulled into set the next day. It was the first time we were seeing the cast after Emmie accidentally sent the picture of Steven and I kissing.

"Yep," Steven replied and looked back at Emmie.

"Stop looking at me, I didn't mean to!" She argued while crossing her arms over her chest.

Steven chuckled. "I'm just kidding you Em."

As three of us approached the set, everyone came running at us. Emily instantly jumped onto me with a hug. "Ahhh!" She squealed like a little girl at a concert. "Is it true?! Tell me it's true!" She didn't even wait for an answer. "Stauren is happening!"

"Woah Emily, calm down," I laughed and she pulled away with the biggest smile spread across her face. "Yes it's true." She squealed once again and grabbed my hands, jumping up and down.

"But we did not plan on telling you guys over text," Steven said and we all turned to look at Emmie.

"Oh come on! It was an accident! I meant to just send it to dad and Lauren, but I clicked on the wrong group chat," Emmie explained stubbornly, making us all laugh.

Steven ruffled her hair. "Alright, now you go find Mingus in Norman's trailer, we gotta get to work." Emmie nodded and left.

"So did you get a new house?" Alanna asked Steven.

"Yep! Just bought it a couple days ago, and the best part is, it's furnished," he answered. "But we will still get rid of some of the stuff and buy new things once we have completely settled in. We have already started moving new things in as well."

*Steven' POV*

It was a long day of shooting that day and by the time it was over, everyone besides Emmie was exhausted. As we drove back to Lauren's house, I heard my phone buzz.

"It's from Greg," Lauren said while looking at my phone screen. "Remember Comic con starts at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon."

I sighed and leaned my head back on the headrest while pulling into Lauren's driveway. "I completely forgot about that. I guess we will be able to quickly pack tomorrow morning. I think the flights at eleven."

"Don't be stressed, it'll all work out and it'll be fun," Lauren reassured me and I got out of the car. She wrapped her arm around one and held my hand as we walked the through the front door.

"Emmie you should go to bed, we have to get up early," I suggested.

"M'kay." With that, she sleepily went upstairs and to the guest room, Lauren and I following up and going to Lauren's room.

"I need a shower.......but I'm too tired to take one," Lauren yawned, making me laugh. She fell back on the bed and closed her sleepy eyes. "I think I'm just gonna...I think I'm...I'm just gonna...." She couldn't even finish her sentence she was so tired.

I climbed onto the bed and laid on my stomach right next to her. "Lauren," I whispered and poked her cheek. "Laurrr." I held out the 'r' and she fake whined.

"What?"

"You can't go to bed in your dirty cloths," I said and she buried her face into one of the pillows. "Come on babe, let's get you cleaned up and in comfy clothes." I stood up and got out a pair of her pajamas. Lauren stood up and we both changed and got ready to go to bed.

While Lauren was in the bathroom, I quickly peeked my head into the guest room to find Emmie sound asleep. Before leaving, I kissed her head and whispered, "I love you, baby."

It took a few more minutes until I finally was able to lay down in bed, with Lauren practically asleep already. "You're gonna go to sleep without giving me a kiss?" I joked and she mumbled something that I couldn't understand. I chuckled and placed a single kiss on her lips before wrapping and arm around her and closing my eyes. "You set the alarm for the morning right?"

"Yeah."

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm sure."

Chaos was one word that described the next morning. The alarm never went off early in the morning like it should have because it turns out Lauren did forget but she was too tired to remember. Nobody had woken up until 9:45 and the plane was supposed to leave at eleven.

"Emerson, you need to get dressed and pack now!" I yelled out, frustrated. "The plane leaves in an hour and you still haven't done anything!"

I ran upstairs and threw a pile of clean clothes into a suitcase, running into the bathroom after to get the bathroom necessities. "Lauren will you grab the plane tickets from the kitchen counter?!" I yelled, not listening for an answer as I quickly got ready to leave.

Every minute I looked at my watch, just wishing that the time would go backwards. Then, a frustrated scream came from the bathroom where Emmie was trying to do her hair. "I need help," she whined.

I dropped my bag and rushed over, grabbing a brush. "What do you want? A ponytail? Please say a ponytail."

"A braid," she said and started to pack all of her bathroom stuff into a little bag. I sighed and looked at her long hair, not knowing how to start a braid. Surprisingly I have never done one in my life.

"Uhh." I took her hair and split it in half, trying to figure out what to do.

"You're not doing it right!" Emmie yelled out. All three of us were definitely on edge that morning. "Lauren!"

Lauren then came running in and gently pushed me aside, taking Emmie hair from my hands. "Seriously Steven, you've been been a little girls father for nine years and you don't know how to do a braid."

"You got the tickets right?" I asked Lauren as we left the house.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure," she answered with a sigh.

It was a long, tedious, drive to the airport and we all rushed out of the car once the car was parked. I took a quick glance down at my watch which said 10:42 am. "Come on, hurry!" I said and frantically jogged through the parking lot, Emmie lagging close behind with Lauren.

When the three of us were standing near the security line, I looked through my bag for the tickets. "Lauren, where are the tickets?" I asked, nervously.

"In your bag," she replied.

"No, they aren't here." She looked through her purse and found nothing. "Lauren! I asked you to put them in my bag!" My voice started to raise a little.

"I thought I did and then Emmie called me up because you didn't know how to do a freaking braid," she argued back.

"Well maybe if you would actually set the alarm, I would've had time to do both!" I was really aggravated at that point. Emmie watched with a bit of fear in her eyes, as if she wanted to say something but was too afraid to jump in.

"It was an accident, Steven!" People started to look at us, but I didn't care at that point.

I crossed my arms over my chest like a child and angerly sighed. "Jo was never this unorganized," I whispered.

"Excuse me?"

"Well she wasn't," I continued.

"Well then maybe you should just go running back to Jo and ask her to be your girlfriend because you're single again." With that she ripped the necklace I gave to her from around her neck and threw it on the floor, storming out the airport doors.
