This is a boy x boy story, so if that isn't your vibe then go somewhere else.
This book is in first person perspective while my others have been in third person. Feel free to leave constructive criticism and your own opinions on which you like better, because I honestly can't decide.
The characters in this story are sixteen and sophomores in high school. I won't be writing smut. There will be plenty of fluff though.
For text messages I use images within the story to show the conversation. I wanted to give everyone a heads up that media will be included in case people typically use the offline version.
NO THERE IS NOT A LOVE TRIANGLE! I know it seems like the perfect setup a few times in the beginning, but I promise there's only one ship. The rest of the characters are put with the MC in a strictly platonic manner.
Slow burn!!! I mean it. There's tension but for the most part, the beginning focuses lots on their friendship. I focus a lot on the characters getting to know each other and connecting before anything happens between them. You guys are genuinely going to hate me for how long it takes but I promise (in my very biased opinion) that it's a good story and worth reading through the build-up!
There will be some colorful language in this story because it's centered around high schoolers and teenagers curse a lot, that's just life. Sorry loves.
Since the main characters are teenagers please understand they will make mistakes. They'll do and say dumb shit that isn't always a good idea, and I am not promoting other people to try anything that is mentioned here.
I am not a professional writer, I will make mistakes. I'm not perfect. Please feel free to point anything out but don't be hateful. (Spare my delicate feelings please.)
Just for reference: Sage moves around the end of October. Also, in some chapters there are little jumps in time, just like one day it's Monday and the next it's Wednesday. I try to make it clear when I do this but I might fail sometimes. Just comment if you get confused!
