I'm walking into the hospital, and I accidentally bump into someone.

Savannah: oh my god! I am so sorry.

Tom: it's okay.

I look up at the guy, and my eyes grow wide when I realize that the guy I bumped into... was Tom Evans.

Savannah: oh... my god. You're– you're Tom Evans!

Tom: indeed I am.

Savannah: I can't believe I just bumped into you. I-I'm so sorry!

Tom: it's alright. Pleasure to meet you, Dr...

Savannah: Collins. Dr. Savannah Collins. It is an absolute honor to meet you, Dr. Evans.

Tom: pleasure to meet you, Dr. Collins. Do you happen to know where the Chief's office is?

Savannah: I do. I can take you there myself.

Tom: excellent! Thank you.

I try my best to keep my composure as I walk with Tom to Derek's office.

Savannah: so, how long are you going to be here for?

Tom: well, I will be performing a bloodless CABG today. Will you be scrubbing in with me today?

Savannah: I wish I could, but I'm on another doctor's service today.

Tom: well, too bad.

I smile at Tom as we reach Derek's office.

Tom: thank you for the help. Have a good day, Dr. Collins.

Savannah: you too, Dr. Evans.

I walk away with the biggest smile on my face. When I get to the lounge, I see Cristina there.

Savannah: Cristina! Tom Evans is here.

Cristina looks at me with wide eyes as I change into my scrubs.

Cristina: he's here?!

Savannah: yeah! I bumped into his in the lobby, and I talked to him, and I guided him to Shepherd's office.

Cristina: shut up!

Savannah: come on, cardio junkie!

I grab Cristina's hand and we bolt to Derek's office. We stand on the bridge and casually stand by the office.

Cristina: I'm scrubbing in on his surgery today.

Savannah: I'm so jealous. I wish I could scrub in on an Evans bypass.

I notice Meredith from the corner of my eye.

Meredith: hey. So is it true, you helped Teddy and Mark deliver Little Sloan's baby?

Savannah: oh my god. Little Sloan's here? And she had her baby?

Cristina: yeah. Not now.

Meredith: what's wrong with you?

Savannah: Tom Evans, in with your husband.

Meredith looks into the office then back at us.

Meredith: that's Tom Evans? He seems a lot younger than I would've—

Cristina: please try and be cool.

Teddy: morning.

I smile as Teddy comes over.

Cristina: hey. Hey, hey, hey. He's in with Shepherd.

Teddy: who?

Cristina: Tom Evans.
