After i posted my pictures i went downstairs to the kitchen to get a water and someone face timed me. Without looking at the caller ID i answered it.
"Damn ma" i heard that deep Chicago accent say
I turned around quickly and layed the phone down so it was now facing the ceiling.
"My bad Von i didn't know it was you calling" i said grabbing my phone and water then heading upstairs
"Nah you alright ma"
"Mhm well how you been?"
"I been good, i heard about dat lil shit dat happened wit yo nigga sorry for yo loss ma" he said which caused me to furrow my eyebrows

"He wasn't my nigga but thanks and it's okay"
"Oh he wasn't yo nigga? I thought y'all was fucking around or sum shit"
"Something like that but anyways, do you have an girlfriend?" I asked tryna change the subject
"Nah ion do dat datin' shit ma"

I layed my phone down on the dresser and got ready for bed while Von just talked to me.
"Ima come get you tomorrow"he said
"For what?"
"Don't worry 'bout it"
"You always telling me to 'Don't worry about it' like what if your trying to kill me or something?"
"I ain't gone kill you ma" he said giggling a little
"Mhm, well i have to work tomorrow night"
"Call off"
"Why?"
"Don't ask no gangsta why, just do what i say" he demanded
"Whatever" i said grabbing my phone then laying down "You know i don't even know you like that all i know is that your a rapper"
"What you tryna say you wanna know more 'bout a nigga?"

"My name Von, I'm from da O, I'm 25 and a felon" he said and i just sat there for a minute before i busted out laughing "What ma?"
"You so bad at telling me more about yourself. I said I want to know more about YOU."

"Tell me 'bout you, Jovanni"
"Well my name is Jovanni, I'm from Atlanta Georgia, I'm 23 and I'm a stripper and Ig model" i said then i laughed and he just straight faced me
"I'a knock yo ass out" he said while pointing at me through the phone
"I wanna see you try" i said giving additude

"Yea, I'a fold yo lil ass like a pretzel"
After he said that we both just sat there silent for a moment until i broke the silence.
"Well I'll see you in the morning I'm about to go to sleep"
"Aight ma, sleep tight don't let Von's Chiraq demons bite" he said which caused me to cringe and laugh
"Y'all hood nigga's is so corny"
"Yea whateva good night ma"
"Good night Von" i said before hanging up and going to sleep
