Elijah and Artemis arrive at the Gilbert residence. Artemis gripping one of his hands. He uses the other hand to knock on the door. Elena opens the door upon seeing them, a shocked look crosses her face and she turns towards the kitchen. "Stefan..." Elena says. He turns his head and sees Elijah and Artemis at the doorway. "Elijah, Artemis." Stefan says. "Hello again." Elijah says. "Hello." Artemis says. Elijah, Artemis and Elena are sitting at the kitchen table. Stefan and Matt are looking at Elijah. "All we need is to take that stake away from him. Once he's been disarmed, the weapon's in my possession. My family will scatter to the ends of the earth and Alaric will follow us." Elijah says. "And you'll just... run." Stefan says. "We've done it before. Klaus and Rebekah spent the better part of a thousand years evading my father. What's another half century while Elena's able to live out the rest of her natural life?" Elijah asks. "We finally stopped him, Elijah. After everything that he's done to us, I can't just let you bring him back." Elena says. Artemis glares at her. "I give you my word, Elena. I will not revive Klaus within yours, nor even within your children's lifetimes. Perhaps it'll finally teach him some manners." Elijah says. "Why should she trust you? All you've done is screw her over." Matt asks. "And for that, I'm deeply ashamed. But know this... she could have been dead the instant I walked through that door tonight. So, Elena, I leave it to you to make the decision whether to trust me or not." Elijah says. Suddenly, Damon responds. He is on speakerphone. "Not! Hello! Did that concussion give you brain damage? His lunatic siblings will kill you the first chance they get!" Damon exclaims. Artemis rolls her eyes at Damon. "Rebekah and Kol will honor the terms if you return Klaus' body to us... Elena will come to no harm." Elijah says. Elena looks at Stefan. "Do we have a deal?" Artemis asks. "No! No, no, no, no. Did I mention, no!" Damon exclaims. "Elena, it's up to you." Stefan says. "Oh, come on!" Damon exclaims. "Why do you want Klaus' body?" Elena asks. "He's my brother and Artemis's father. We remain together." Elijah says. Elena sighs and looks at him. "We have a deal." Elena says.

Alaric is alone at the bar. His phone buzzes, he answers. "Yes?" Alaric asks. "I know where Klaus' body is." Jeremy says. "Good, tell me." Alaric says. "Damon's on his way to bury him in the woods off Route 12. I'll text you with the specifics." Jeremy says. Alaric smiles. "Thank you, Jeremy, you're doing the right thing for your sister." Alaric says. "I know." Jeremy says.
