It was almost two days before Mercedes heard anything from anyone. Natasha had called Mercedes during Bean's nap time. Mercedes had been hoping the woman would call, so when she did call, a weight somewhat lifted off of her chest. She knew Natasha was alive and safe, and that was one last thing she had to worry about.

"Fury assembled a team and named them the Avengers," Natasha informed,"and you'll never guess who's all a part of the team." She commented, causing Mercedes to furrow her eyebrows.

"Who's a part of the team?" She asked, completely curious.

"Well, you remember how your father decided to build Stark tower, and all that?" Natasha asked, and Mercedes became even more confused.

"Yeah, what does that have anything to do with it?" She questioned, making Natasha chuckle.

"First, your dad is under the impression that you're on vacation with a friend named Clara, and you forgot to tell him," Natasha said,"also, the team consists of Captain America, the Hulk, Loki's brother Thor, myself, and your dad."

"No way!" Mercedes exclaimed,"Wait a minute, explain three things. Why is Thor there, why is my dad a part of the team, and why does my dad think I'm on vacation?" She asked, and Natasha sighed.

"Thor is here because he wants to help us defeat Loki and bring Loki back to Asgard or something," She shrugged to herself,"Your dad is here because his suit helps the team, and he's a genius, even if he is an asshole. I would say you could take his place, but we all know that nobody would have that," She laughed,"and he thinks your on vacation, because I told him I had seen you in passing and heard you mention it. I didn't think you'd want him to know the truth, especially like this. I wanted you to have the chance to tell him yourself."

"I will, I promise," Mercedes answered,"Also, I think I'd make a great addition on the team, and I'm not that much of an asshole." She joked, making Natasha smirk.

"I've got to go," Natasha murmured,"but we're close to finding Clint, I promise."

With those words, Natasha hung up the phone, and Mercedes felt a lot better. She didn't feel as worried anymore, since she had heard things about each person on the team. Captain America, who's real name was Steve Rogers, was the guy that somehow lived in ice for many years. She remembered her grandfather telling her about Steve when she was little. She only got to know her grandparents for about three or four years, but her grandfather told her a lot about Steve.

Hulk, who's real name was Bruce Banner, was a smart man with a PhD that accidentally turned himself into a big green monster. She thought he was pretty smart though, even if he did turn himself into Big Green. Thor was the God of Thunder, and he was the older brother of Loki the God of Mischief. She remembered hearing about him a while back from Clint, when Thor had first come to Earth.

Her father, or rather Iron Man, was a genius, even if she believed him to be an idiot right now. She wasn't happy that he was a part of the Avengers. This little super hero group was going to get themselves hurt or killed because Fury thought it'd be a good idea.

She had to get over that though, since she knew her father was one of the only people who could find Clint. He may not know it, but Mercedes was grateful for everything he was doing. He was risking his life for Clint, and Mercedes wanted to thank him, but she also didn't want to distract him. She knew they all needed to only be focused on work.

Natasha, her best friend, who was also known as Black Widow, was definitely one of the best to have on the team. Natasha was fast, smart, and very strong. She was an assassin trained by the Red Room, which wasn't something to boast about, but Mercedes liked to try and get the woman to see the best in the worst of things. Natasha completed many search and rescue missions, so Mercedes held no doubt for the woman.

Anyhow, an hour later when Bean woke up, Mercedes went straight up to his nursery. She smiled down at her little boy, and placed a gentle hand on his belly. He grinned up at her and let out a laugh. He was always so happy when he seen her after waking up, and she could always feel better when she recieved one of his smiles.

"Auntie Nat is saving the world, Bean. I think we'll be happier soon." Mercedes cooed, as she lightly tickled his belly.

Moxley stood to his full height and peeked into the crib where his best friend was laying. He let out a whine, and Mercedes laughed.

"I guess it's time to get you out of there," Mercedes commented,"Mox is getting a bit jealous." She joked, and Moxley seemingly scoffed at her.

Mercedes picked Bean up and brought him over to the changing table. She quickly changed his diaper, before she picked him back up and carried him downstairs. She placed him on the floor with his toys, and turned on the TV. Dumbo was playing, so she left the movie on and sat down on the couch.

Moxley sat with Bean and played. Bean eventually just laid against Moxley and watched the movie, as Moxley laid his head on his paws. Mercedes smiled to herself, and snapped a picture of them. She often times took many pictures of Bean to show them to Clint later. He didn't have her send him the pictures, since he was afraid someone would see them. If he was at home, he'd let her send them, and he'd put them in a locked folder on his phone. He wanted to keep his family a secret from anyone who could potentially pose a threat to them...
