Two months had passed since Clint had moved in with Mercedes and Moxley. Every night, Clint would be greeted by Moxley, and every morning he'd wake up to Meecedes making him a nice breakfast. They liked their routine, and it worked out well for both of them. They didn't think anything would change for a while.

For the last couple days, Mercedes had been feeling sick. She didn't think much of it for a while, figuring it was a stomach bug or food poisoning, but when it didn't go away, she knew something was up. So, she decided to do her own blood test. She had the equipment in her room, which she only used sometimes, since she rarely worked with blood, and normally sent it to the lab for tests.

When she seen what was wrong, she was almost sure it was lying. So, she grabbed a pregnancy test from in her desk, which was for all women in S.H.I.E.L.D when they needed one, and she went straight for the bathroom. She followed the instructions, and when she got back a positive test, she felt like she was going to faint. Quickly, she pulled out her phone and called Natasha.

Natasha practically ran to Mercedes' office, and Mercedes had a small ultrasound machine ready. She hadn't told Natasha why she was needed, she just told her it was urgent. Seeing the small machine, Natasha's face lit up and a smile graced her lips.

"Arw you serious?!" Natasha asked, the smile never leaving.

"Won't know until you use the wand and gel to see if there's something there." Mercedes replied, and Natasha practically jumped at the chance to use the machine.

Mercedes explained to Natasha how to use the machine, before the woman did exactly as she was told. When the two heard the unmistakable sound of a heartbeat, Mercedes felt her stomach drop slightly. She and Clint hadn't talked about kids, and they hadn't even been together a year yet. She wanted to know how they could've been so irresponsible.

"You're pregnant!" Natasha exclaimed, a smile on her face.

"I know." Mercedes replied, not as enthusiastic.

"What's wrong?" Natasha asked, crossing her arms and furrowing her eyebrows.

"Clint and I never talked about kids, Nat. We haven't gotten that far," Mercedes commented,"What if he doesn't want it? What if he wants me to get rid of it?" She questioned, making Natasha smile once more.

Natasha placed her hands on Mercedes' hands, and squeezed lightly.

"Clint loves kids, Mercy. He'd be an amazing dad, just like you'd be an amazing mom," Natasha said,"You should tell," She added,"Wait! Let's do a cute announcement! I'll be back in twenty minutes!" Natasha exclaimed, before she rushed out of the room.

The twenty minutes she was gone was the longest twenty minutes in Mercedes' life. When Natasha came back with a box of donuts, Mercedes gave her a weird look. Natasha simply grinned and opened the box. Inside was a dozen donuts, and on the top there was a note.

'Eat up!

My mommy can't be the only one with a belly!

            Baby Barton coming soon!"

In between those two sentences was a picture of the positive pregnancy test. Natasha had went all out on the announcement, and Mercedes was proud of her. It was amazing. She absolutely loved it, and she hoped Clint would too.

"I'll go get Clint," Natasha commented,"once he sees it, we'll let him decide if he's sharing." She added, before she left the room.

Mercedes waited with nerves digging at her belly. When she heard Clint and Natasha coming down the hall, she held her breath for a moment. Before he could say anything to Mercedes, Natasha told him to grab a donut. He gave the woman a crazy look, before walking over to the donuts. He opened the box, and the room fell silent. A second passed, before Clint's body quickly turned around to Mercedes.

"Are you really?" He asked, looking down at her belly.

"Yeah." She answered, her voice barely above a whisper.

Before she could get any more bad thoughts in her head, Clint was over by her. He wrapped his arms around her, lifted her off the floor, and placed kisses all over her face.

"How far along are you?" He asked, looking into her eyes.

"According to the ultrasound Natasha did, I'm about seven weeks along." She replied, and he laughed.

"Almost as long as I've been living with you." He commented, making her laugh.

"It's like your housewarming gift was a baby." Natasha joked, causing her friends to laugh.

"I gotta tell everyone!" Clint exclaimed, quickly grabbing the box of donuts.

Truth be told, he wasn't telling everyone. He was only telling a select few people he could trust. He wasn't letting word get out too fast. He knew everyone would eventually see her belly, but until then, it needed to stay a secret from a lot of people. Anyone could make her a target because of the baby being his.

"See? I told you he wouldn't be mad." Natasha commented, and Mercedes chuckled.

"Guess I need to listen to you more often." Mercedes replied, causing Natasha to smirk.

"I've been telling you that for years, you just never believed me." Natasha retorted jokingly, making her best friend laugh.

Mercedes couldn't believe she was pregnant. She was happy though, no matter how surprised she was when she found out. Clint was beyond happy, and he wanted everyone to know it. Natasha was happy that her two best friends were going to be parents. She knew they knew about her lack of ability to become a mom, but she didn't let that ruin her happiness for them.

Well, she also knew she'd be like a really cool aunt, so she didn't mind. She could buy baby clothes and get everything a baby could need, and she'd be happy with just that. She just hoped that nothing would come along and wreck their happiness before it could actually begin...

Question: Should Clint and Mercedes still have Cooper, Lila, and Nathaniel, or should I name their kids something else?
