Chapter 61 - Trabaho Lang

Andrei Sevyn's POV

"Coffee break muna." Sabi ni Allison as she entered our office with two cups of coffee.

"Nice. Thanks."

"I should be the one thanking you for being so patient with me."

"Haha. Wala yun."

"God really has favorites, 'no? I mean, sobrang talino mo na, sobrang gwapo pa."

I get that a lot.

"Di mo naman kailangang mambola para turuan kita. Haha." Sabi ko.

"Hoy, di kita binobola ha. I'm just telling the truth. Tska for sure alam mo naman yan. Ganyan type naming mga babae."

I scoffed. "So are you saying na type mo ako?" Natawa ako nang manlaki ang mata niya after she realized na nadulas siya.

"Oops, the secret's out. Fine. Yes, type kita. Masama ba yun?"

"Haha. Hindi naman."

"Soooo.. are you single?"

"Yeah."

"Why?"

"Anong why? Haha."

"I mean.. how can someone like you be single? You have it all."

"Haha. Wala lang. Choice ko naman maging single."

"Let me guess. You're the one-night-only type."

Tumawa nalang ako.

"Sooo.. what should a girl do to get one night with you?"

Akala ko Maria Clara type 'to si Allison. May pagka wild din pala 'to. Pero hands down, diretsahan kung magtanong.

"Well, all they have to do is ask."

"Then what if.."

Allison wasn't able to continue what she was about to say dahil biglang bumukas ang pinto.

"Excuse me. Sevyn. Halika saglit."

Vega Beatrice's POV

I have some unfinished documents that need to be submitted to the boss by the end of the day kaya naisipan kong ipasa muna kay Sevyn since may gagawin ako and kaya naman nya yung trabaho ko.

Papasok na sana ako sa opisina niya nang marinig ko na nag uusap sila ni Allison.

'Sooo.. what should a girl do to get one night with you?' Sabi niya. Nakakagulat ha. Akala ko Maria Clara, di makabasag pinggan, dalagang pilipina type. Nasa loob pala ang kulo. Looks can be deceiving nga naman.

'Well, all they have to do is ask.' Sagot ni Sevyn. Ito namang isang 'to. Ano ba siya sa tingin niya? Genie? Magwi-wish lang ng sex sakanya tapos ibibigay agad?

I opened the door and called Sevyn's attention. Agad naman siya lumabas and I closed the door to make sure Allison wouldn't hear us.

"Yes?"

"Mukhang iba naman tinuturo mo kay Allison."

He laughed. "Trabaho lang."

"Anyway, kailangan 'to ni boss by 5PM. Ikaw na tumapos kasi may pupuntahan ako." Inabot ko na sakanya yung draft.

"Easy. Pero san ka pupunta?"

"Di yan easy kung uunahin mo kalandian mo."

Tinawanan niya lang ako.

"San ka ba pupunta?"

"Vega! Let's go?" Biglang sabi ni Ace mula sa loob ng opisina ko.

And that answers Sevyn's question.

"You're going somewhere with your ex?"

Kung kanina tumatawa tawa si Sevyn, ngayon magkasalubong na yung kilay niya.

"Trabaho lang." Sabi ko sabay kindat at alis.
