From aiming for the same latin honors in college, to aiming for the same promotion at work- Sevyn and Vega have a long history of rivalry. But in the bedroom, they always call a truce.
Nagpaalam sakin si Vega na si Chloe kasama niya mag lunch kaya nagpaalam rin ako na sasaglit ako sa location ng photoshoot ni Kelsey sa isang hotel malapit sa office.
Pagdating ko, Kelsey called for a quick break, so her team left the dressing room at kaming dalawa nalang ang natira. We don't have much time dahil marami pa siyang isho-shoot kaya di na ako nagpaligoy-ligoy pa. I told her everything that happened last week.
"So you finally admit na talaga na you love her na? Wala nang 'ata' like last time?"
I nodded. "Yeah, sure na. I love her, Kels. Sobra."
As expected, Kelsey screamed.
"I'm so proud of you for forgiving Riley, pero..." She suddenly slapped my arm. Malakas ha. "I am so fucking pissed at how torpe and manhid you are!"
"What?!"
"Di pa ba obvious sayo? She loves you, dummy! My god!"
"Sh.. sh-she does?
Kelsey rolled her eyes. "I thought you were smart. Summa cum laude ka pa man din."
"Anong connect? I studied accountancy, Kels. Walang love subject dun."
"Love isn't something you need to study. It comes naturally." She pointed to my heart. "Matalino ka yet you failed to observe things. It took too damn long for you to realize that you really love her. And you don't even realize that she loves you too. Hay nako."
Yumuko ako dahil ramdam kong umiinit yung mukha ko. Kinikilig ako at the thought na mahal rin ako ni Vega.
"Bakit ba kasi you're so torpe?! Umamin ka na!" I was going to answer but Kelsey immediately covered my mouth. "Ayan! Sa sagutan ang galing ng bibig mo pero sa aminan di mapakinabangan!"
This girl. Ang lala sumermon.
But I couldn't deny that she has a point.
After a few more minutes of talking, one of her makeup artists knocked on the door and asked if pwede na sila mag continue.
"That's my cue to leave." Sabi ko kay Kelsey.
"Get outta here." Sabi niya as she gave me a side hug. "Don't forget what I told you, 'kay?"
Before starting the car, I grabbed my phone from my pocket.
