Oh. 2 months na? I guess it's true that time flies so fast when you're having fun. Haha.
I placed the flowers in a vase, then I went to work. Maaga akong pumasok para marami akong matapos ngayong araw.
As I passed by Sevyn's office, narinig kong andun si Allison kasama yung kaibigan niyang employee rin dito pero di ko alam ang pangalan. I decided to eavesdrop kung anong pinag uusapan nila ng ganto kaaga.
"Sira ulo ka talaga, Alli! Haha!"
"Mission accomplished naman yung pagkukunwari kong di ako marunong, diba? Magkasama na kami sa isang office oh. Haha!"
What the fuck? So all this time she was doing it on purpose na maliin yung trabaho niya para makasama niya si Sevyn?
"Hala, gagi. Dinelete!" Rinig kong sabi nung isa.
"Para mag overtime kami ni Sevyn. Alam mo na."
I wasn't able to tell Sevyn about what I heard dahil naging busy ako buong araw. But when I got back to my office before the end of office hours, tinext ko agad siya.

"Hi." Sevyn immediately held my waist and leaned in to kiss me pagpasok ko ng janitor's closet, pero umiwas ako. "What's wrong, babe?"
"Sinasadya ni Allison na maliit ang trabaho niya to get closer to you. And she deleted the files this morning para mag overtime daw kayo." Diretsahan kong sabi.
Sevyn had a blank reaction on his face for a few seconds tapos biglang tumawa na.
"Mukha ba akong nakikipagbiruan, Andrei Sevyn?"
"Ay, hindi ba?" I crossed my arms at sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. "Seryoso ba babe?"
"Oo nga, tanga! Narinig ko kaninang umaga. Ba't ba ayaw mo maniwala?!"
"Calm down." Sabi niya sabay hawak sa magkabilang braso ko. "Naniniwala ako. It's just.. weird. Why would she do that?"
"Duh. She wants to sleep with you."
Yung reaction ni Sevyn para bang hindi na gaanong nagulat. Palibhasa habulin ng babae.
"I won't sleep with her babe. Don't worry."
My eyes widened. Is he.. is he giving me assurance?
"I still have to stay later, though. Kailangan ko parin mag overtime para sa files na yun." He held both of my hands and squeezed them. "Pero promise, I'll finish as fast as I can tapos pupunta na 'ko sayo."
I just stared into his eyes. He looks 100% sincere.
"Okay." Sagot ko sa lahat ng sinabi niya. "Kiss mo na ako."
I kept myself busy by cleaning my room as I waited for Sevyn. Hindi naman sa pinaghahandaan ko yung pag punta niya, pero magulo na kasi talaga yung ibang gamit, lalo na yung closet ko.
I expected him to arrive late, pero mga isa't may kalahating oras palang since I left the office, dumating na siya.
"Oh. You're here."
"Wanna know why?" Sevyn laid on the bed and asked me to join him. "Allison kept flirting with me, tapos she said something like 'she'll do all the work', which I know she meant sex, pero syempre kunwari ang pagkakaintindi ko she meant the files. Kaya umalis na ako."
The first part of the sentence made my blood boil, pero di ko maiwasang matawa sa mga sumunod. Imagine the look on Allison's face when Sevyn left. Haha! I would've paid to see that.
"Very good naman pala." Sabi ko.
He took my hand and kissed it. "Sabi ko naman sayo. Sayo lang ako eh."
"Dapat lang 'no. Nasa usapan yan."
"Wala bang reward dyan? Yung 'I'll do all the work' sana kasi pagod na pagod ako sa trabaho oh."
I just rolled my eyes, tapos pumwesto na ako sa ibabaw niya.
I guess he does deserve an award. And okay, I'll do all the work.
