From aiming for the same latin honors in college, to aiming for the same promotion at work- Sevyn and Vega have a long history of rivalry. But in the bedroom, they always call a truce.
When I got home, I received an email from HR na nag resign daw yung Senior Financial Analyst, which means the position is already vacant. But the email wasn't addressed to me only. Syempre naka address din sa bwisit sa buhay ko since college.
We were both invited to dinner for the discussion of the promotion. Our boss sat at the end of the table, tapos magkaharap kami ni Sevyn. We were eating seafood kaya nagka-kamay kami.
I caught Sevyn looking at me. The shrimp's sauce was all over my fingers- so I sucked my thumb and licked my index finger. "Mmmm. So good." I did it slowly and seductively, giving him a little recap of what I did to him earlier.
I pointed to something on his plate. "Subuan mo nga ako, Sevyn." Sabi ko sabay kindat. Nanlaki yung mga mata niya dahil alam niyang hindi naman talaga yung pagkain ang tinutukoy ko. Sumulyap siya sa boss namin na busy kumain before turning to me.
"Sige ba. Basta pakainin mo rin ako."
I just laughed it off.
A few minutes after I went to the washroom, I heard Sevyn excuse himself sabi maghuhugas rin daw siya ng kamay. Naabutan niya akong nag aayos.
"Smudgeproof ba yang lipstick mo?" Tanong niya as he looked at my reflection in the mirror habang naghuhugas siya ng kamay.
Nagtaka ako sa tanong niya but I answered anyway. "Nope."
He turned off the tap, then whispered something before going back to the table. "Then behave, Vega. You know how hard I kiss."
