Most people spend their entire life imprisoned within the confines of their own thoughts. They never go beyond a narrow, mind-made, personalized sense of self that is conditioned by the past.

This was my thought before reawakening from my long slumber.

The fog in my mind and the fatigue in my body disappeared. I can hear the sound of waves crashing against the shore and the faint sound of birds chirping in the distance.

"Oh, man... Guessed we didn't find any treasure— but we did find this person who surprisingly appeared in front of us now. Although she just seemed to be lying lifelessly on the ground. Wait— c-could it be that she's dead..?!"

"...No, I could sense her pulse beating and I doubt she isn't any kind of person that we'll be encountering, Paimon."

Two voices suddenly filled my ears that what seems to be a voice of a teenage man, and somewhat of a child.

"Nnh..." I moaned quietly until I can finally able to open my eyes.

"Oh! She seems to be awake now."

As my eyes were currently adjusting to the brightness of my surroundings, I saw two people in front me, however, their faces were still blurry for me but their appearances are what I can take note of; A male blonde boy and a flying pet.

They watched me silently as I slowly pull myself up then clutched my head lightly.

"Who are you people? And who sent you here?"

Instead of giving them first my gratitude for unsealing, here I was asking them some direct questions.

"This is the Traveler, Aether, and Paimon's name is Paimon!"

"Yes, we are here since Ruu asked us one last time to find a hidden seal back on this island and then unseal it with this feather that he gave us."

After this boy explained the situation, my gaze suddenly landed on him.

"You mentioned a boy named Ruu? He's alive?Where is he now?"

"No, more like a soul of his that talked to us and he already said his final farewell before departing and gave us this."

He showed me a piece of violet feather on his hand that almost shook me when he decided to hand it to me.

"This is..."

I suddenly find my own memories came rushing back to me. I remembered our former glory as a Thunderbird. Recalling the day I challenged the Electro Archon and tried to defeat her in order to avenge my sister.

I also remembered the defeat that I sustained, and the long period of meditation that followed. The bitter feelings towards that god as she sealed me inside a realm of timelessness, condemning me to centuries of loneliness.

Remembering her and the memories makes me seething with rage.

I looked up at the top of the mountain and saw a bright blue sky.

Weird...

I fixated my gaze towards the exist of Mt. kanna and moved with a speed of light to go outside, not caring if I left them behind since I wanted to confirm something for myself.

"I see... So I guess this confirms my theory then..."

I looked at my surroundings and noticed the changes of the Island.
